𝙸'𝚖 𝚕𝚘𝚜𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚋𝚢 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚒𝚛 𝚜𝚒𝚍𝚎

"Peko No!!" Fuyuhiko cried.
"No way this is happening. Now of all times?!" Kazuichi noted. There was a literal chaos which was yet comforting in a strange way. Peko jumped off the boat and landed into the chilling waters of the ocean. But before she did land in there, she hit her head with her metallic bat. Fuyuhiko was rather shocked. He had a look on his face which clearly screamed 'I just lost my will to live.'  Everyone was crying and so did i. More because I wanted to show sepathy to her and her cherished one. I patted Fuyuhiko's shoulder and his bursted into tears while i was holding him rightly in my embrace. "So Fuyuhiko, may i ask you something really important?" I asked him and he nodded sadly. "While we were drinking on the beach at night like 2 weeks ago remember what you told me?"

*Flashback*

"You see... We are living in a strange and mad world, you never know what happens next, if you are going to wake up tomorrow or the last time you spend with someone as you previously said. I wanted to ask you a favor." What's up with Fuyuhiko? All of sudden he was almost at his limit. He seemed to be... Scared? Well everyone is. "Yes please continue Fuyuhiko." "If anything happens to me or Peko, get us in the top of the cliff. I've dug two graves.. one for me and the other for Peko. You'll see them clearly, they are next to Mikan's grave. The difference is that...
I dug them. Just put our bodies there and never separate us. The graves are connected by a tiny hole. This hole is way too tiny. Only our hands can fit in there. Anyway, please don't forget it, it's important." I was shocked by Fuyuhiko's statements. "What will happen if the one dies and the other survives?" I asked him. "Well... If Peko dies first, I know what's going to happen. If I die first, Peko knows what to do. You don't have to worry about it." "I suppose it's alright if you say so..."

*End of flashback*

"I remember and i still stick to my plan." So... Do i have to bury my friend?" I asked Fuyuhiko playing dumb all along. "Pretty much. This will be your first killing aren't you excited?" Fuyuhiko asked. "Why would I be excited to kill you? Fuyuhiko i will miss you can you just change your mind and escape this killing game with me? I don't want to lose yo-" Fuyuhiko hugged me. It was a long-silenced hug but a genuine and real one. Nobody except Nagito noticed the hug but he seemed to understand the situation and just left us alone for a bit. "I would ask Peko out on a date... Why would she do that... I hate the fact that she was killed by her own self.. It's frustrating honestly... I would also through her an amazing birthday party. She never go to celebrate her birthday, not even once, my parents always prohibited it because in their eyes Peko was just a tool." "When was her birthday Fuyuhiko?" I asked. "June 30th" i just wanted to celebrate it in a place away from despair. I wanted the best for the love of my life. And now it's just me in an empty world without her. I really can't do it. I prefer seeing her again than live in a world with the idea of her watching after me. I also want to know why she committed suicide, that's my biggest question actually." "If you want to have your question answered then there's only one thing you can do.." "I'm afraid so.." Me and Fuyuhiko talked about the details and we all decided to return to our island. It was getting late either way. Kazuichi and Hajime got the lifeless body of Peko near Fuyuhiko. Fuyuhiko was playing with her hair and staring at her unlively eyes. The whole scenery was so depressing actually but there was nothing we could do to change things.

While everyone was sad over it, me and Nagito went on top of the boat and sat next to each other to admire the sunset. We listened to '4th of July ' not exchanging a word.

"The end is coming soon isn't it (Y/n)?"
Nagito looked at me. "The end is already here darling.." i smiled at him and he softly kissed me.

We came back to the island where sooner or later everyone found out about the incident. Kaede seemed strong and so did Shuichi. The only ones left here are me, shuichi, kaede, Sonia, chiaki, nagito, Hajime, Kazuichi and Fuyuhiko who'll soon enough leave our side. "Let's go, i don't want to waste any more time in here." Fuyuhiko grabbed me by my shoulder. "Fuyuhiko are you sure about that? That's your last chance.." i warned him. "I know (Y/n) but i will still choose that path no matter how i choose to live. If Peko isn't by my side, living life isn't as promising as it was." Fuyuhiko teared up. "So come on now i don't want to live anymore damnit!" Fuyuhiko yelled at me and everyone heard about his plan. To be honest, I'm glad they did because they would be blaming me afterwards. Heh well, i lifted Peko in my left shoulder and i went up the death hill, Fuyuhiko was next to me all along.

We both went to the graveyard (graveyard because there are to many graves ykyk) and i carefully placed the lifeless body inside the deep-dug grave. I noticed the small space between Fuyuhiko and Peko's graves and i remembered that i had to place her hand in the space. After i put everything in order Fuyuhiko had to jump in his grave too. But before he jumped into it he gave me a big hug. "(Y/n)... Thank you for everything, thank you for not giving up on me and Peko until our very last moments, thank you for being a real friend. I'll never forget you. Be safe and take care of your loved ones. You never know when it's your last day or their last day so live every moment to the fullest. I have one last wish. While burring me can you play a song that me and Peko have been listening to on repeat lately?" I was struggling in keeping up with everything that Fuyuhiko was telling me but i managed to do so. "Sure, tell me." I smiled at him and let go off the hug. "It's called "I bet on losing dogs' by Mitski. She really liked that song.." Fuyuhiko said that and lied next to Peko. This song is so sad actually... Imagine dying to this song. I think it's the best song to die too. And if not it's definitely one of the best to die to.

I started burying Peko, until her insides were filled by the dark brown shade of the soil. Fuyuhiko was remaining calm as if he found peace. He started to feel the soil coming to his way too. He held Peko's hand tight and tried not to think of the fact that the end came sooner than he expected. I didn't want to bury him but i had to. In order to survive. Who the fuck is the bastard behind all this cruelty... Fuyuhiko started breathing heavily and i had to stop because he didn't seem alright. "Fuyuhik-" "KEEP GOING. NOW OR NEVER (Y/N)." I could sense that he wanted his end to be quick but this killing method was slow and torturing as fuck. I buried his head without looking. I could never handle this view. I ended up with this and soon enough i went to my bracelet to look at my notifications. My notifications and tasks were all clear so i guess I'm done with that. Or i thought so.

Suddenly i felt a rock hitting my head and the next thing I remember is my unconscious self lying at the ground and someone holding me by my hair and pulling me somewhere.
