It was a week later. Four weeks since the day the lives of the firefighters changed. Maya came home and looked at Carina. ''How was work.'' Carina said. Maya looked at her. '' It was okay. I just want to go to Andy.'' She said. '' Take a shower and eat something. After that you take a nap and we will look after that okay.'' Carina said. Maya looks at her wife and nods.
Maya took a shower and went back to the living room. ''You wearing Andy's shirt.'' Carina said. Maya nods. ''This was her favorite. Maybe it brings luck.'' Maya said. Carina looks at her. ''She is strong. She will survive.'' Carina said. ''You don't know that. She isn't awake yet.'' Maya said. Carina looks at her. ''Go take a nap Bella. You are tired.'' She said. Maya nods and she walks to Andy's old room. It was a mess. Maya climbs in bed and pull the blanket up to her chin. She falls asleep. She knew everyone was helping her. But the only thing she want was her best friend back.

It was Saturday. Carina was working and Andy and Maya where alone.
Maya was sitting on the couch when she saw Andy. '' Morning luitenant.'' Maya laughs. Andy looks at her. ''Morning captain. You know that it is Saturday and that we are off duty.'' Andy said. Maya looks at her. ''How did you sleep.'' She said. Andy looks at her. 'Good. My own bed is so much more comfortable than in the station.'' She said. Maya looks at her. ''I know. Maybe we need new beds. I will ask Sullivan.' Maya said. Andy looks at her. ''How is carina.'' She said. ''We are good. She is amazing.'' Maya said. Andy sit down next to her. ''You are a incredible captain.' She said. Maya looks at her. ''Don't talk with food in your mouth.' Maya said. She looks at her. ''And thanks. But we will run the station together.'' Maya said. Andy lays her head on your shoulder. ''You are my best friends.'' She said.
It was a few hours later when Carina comes home. ''My two favorite bambina's'' Carina said. She looks at them. ''How was work.'' Andy asked. Carina smiled. 'It was amazing.'' She said. Maya looks at her. 'Had you ever a baby who fly out the mothers vagina.'' Maya asked. Carina and Andy start laughing. ''Baby's don't fly out of vagina's Bella.'' Carina said.
She start cooking and they eat their dinner.
''Can you please not die if you ever got injuried in a fire or something.'' Maya asked. ''ofc bambina.' Carina said. Andy opens her mouth.

Maya wake up of the ringtone of her phone. She jumps out of bed. She grabs her phone. She hopes to see Merediths name on the screen but it is Vic.
''Hey.'' She said. Vic was crying. ''Did. Did something happened with Andy.'' Maya said. ''No. No I haven't any updates on her yet. But I miss her and I miss you.'' Vic said. Maya let a breath out. ''I miss her to. We can walk if you want.'' She said. Vic nods. ''Yes. Yes that's okay.'' She said. She end the call. ''I'm go walking with Vic.'' Maya said. Carina looks at her. ''You seems better Bella.'' She said. Vic smiles. ''Thankyou. Thanks for bringing me home.' She said.
They went to the park. Maya sat down in the grass. ''This was Andy's favorite.'' Vic said while she pack a donut. 'Can please don't do if she is dead. She has a pulse. She is fighting. She isn't dead.'' Maya said. Her eyes where full of tears. ''Sorry. You are right.'' Vic said. Maya looks at her. 'I'm mean and stressed and I know that. But.'' Maya said. Vic holds her hand. ''You have the right to be mean. And to be stressed. All of us have that right. Because on of us is fighting for her life. She is attached to a million machines. She has a freaking tube in her throat. You have all right to be mean. And to be stressed.'' Vic said.
They stand up and walks to the hospital. They walk to Andy's room. Bailey was sitting in her room. She was talking to Andy. ''Maybe we can send Andy to med school.'' Vic laughs. Maya looks at her. ''She saves a boy's life by stacking her hand in his body.' Maya said. They looks at Bailey and decided to let her alone with Andy.
''So basically I was so pissed at Ben that he didn't call me when you guys had that fire. I hide all of his favorite food. And it costs him a week to find it.'' Bailey laughs. She looks at Andy. ''Your friends where everyday here Andy. They make a schedule to visit you. They decorated your room in a firefighter thema. And now every kid on the peds wing want a firefighter room.'' Bailey said. She holds Andy's hand. ''You will be okay. If you wake up everyone will be so happy. Can you please continue your fight.'' Bailey said. Tears rolling down her face. '' The team is so proud of you.'' She said. Bailey rubs her hand. 'I'm pregnant. You are the first person I tell beside ben and the boys.'' She said. She looks at the monitors. ''Your vitals are improving. So apparently you love me talking to you.'' Bailey said. She looks at Andy and strokes her hair. 'You are amazing Andy.'' She said. She stands up. ''I will get Warren. He will be happy to see you. You have the best family Andy.'' She said.
She saw Maya and Vic. ''How long do you guys are standing here.' She said. ''10 minutes. But we would give you time with Andy.'' Maya said. ''Her vitals are improving. I think she loves that people talking to her.'' Bailey said. Maya smiles. ''that's amazing.'' Maya said. She looks at Bailey. 'Go talk to her.'' Bailey said. As she give the two woman the tablet. ''I hate that we can't be with her. I want to hold her hand. I need it to.'' Maya said. Bailey looks at her. ''She is weak. I know you guys want to hold her but its to risky for her.'' Bailey said.
''Hey. I'm back. Vic is with me. We had donuts.'' Maya said. She sits down and looks at Andy. ''I stole your sweater. It is your favorite.'' Maya laughs. 'Miller saves a puppy yesterday. Now he wants a station puppy.'' Vic said. Maya looks at her. ''Animals in the station isn't a good idea. Did you forget Lorelei the tiger.'' Maya laughs. She looks at the monitors. ''You like this story.' She said. Maya placed her hand on the tablet. 'Everyone is so proud of you. You are doing amazing.'' Maya said. She looks at Vic.
''If you are out of this stupid building we are eating so many donuts. And so many hamburgers.'' Vic said. Maya looks at her. ''We will have a team barbecue.'' She said. ''Please don't give up Andy. We need you. We need you at the station. I know you can't be a firefighter again but I can put you on reception duty.'' Maya laughs. She looks at her best friend. ''Please wake up soon.'' Maya said.
''I promised your father to keep an eye on you. And I failed.'' Maya cried
Vic placed a hand on Maya's back. ''Its okay.'' She said.
