Scarlett was sat on her bed as she painted her toenails red, she quite liked the colour and her toenails were in need of a new colour. Scarlett had only gone through one foot when Anne-Marie burst into the room, making her jump slightly. "My god, Anne-Marie!" Scarlett mumbled as she placed a hand over her racing heart. "Was there any particular reason as to why you did that?" She questioned.

"We're needed at the Chaetau." Anne-Marie replied as she ran a hand through her blonde hair, and she leant against the doorframe.

Scarlett looked towards her sister with furrowed brows. "Yeah, urm, what exactly is this Chateau?" Scarlett questioned. "Because I've not seen a Chateau anywhere down here, ever!" She paused for a second. "Not that I'm down here a lot...but, you know what I mean."

"It's John B's place." Anne-Marie said. "It's what we call it. Just...are you coming or not?"

Scarlett looked down at her toes, and how only one foot was painted. "Well, I actually haven't finished painting my nails." Scarlett trailed off slowly. "And it's weird going around with just one painted, and-"

"You can paint them there!" Anne-Marie told her impatiently.

Scarlett thought about it for a moment, before she let out a small sigh. "Yeah, whatever!" She told her. "I'm coming!" Scarlett grabbed her sandals and followed Ann-Marie out of the house, as they headed for John B's place.

"I also, urm, want to apologise for not telling you about how they felt about you." Anne-Marie began slowly. "It was stupid and the wrong thing to do, I know that. It's just that I want you to enjoy your time here, so you continue to visit. And I knew my friends would be some sort of entertainment for you!"

"I do enjoy my time here." Scarlett white lied.

"And when opposed to when you're with Rafe, Topper and all that?" Anne-Marie questioned her with a raised brow.

Scarlett was quiet for a short moment, and she chewed on her lip. "Well, they're my friends." Scarlett reasoned carefully. "Of course I'm going to enjoy my time with them!"

"And I'm your twin sister." Anne-Marie reminded her almost irritably. "You're supposed to enjoy my company more than theirs! We shared a womb, for gods sake, and sometimes I feel like I barely even know you! My own twin sister...twins are supposed to be inseparable!"

"And whose fault is that?" Scarlett asked her, as she couldn't help but feel the same. She knew that she barely even knew her own twin sister.

"Don't pin this on mom!" Anne-Marie told her. "I don't even want to argue about this...I'm just saying that I want to actually know you. We only see each other once every other month for a week, and it's not like we see each other at school. You go to the rich school, and I go public school!"

"Well, enjoy it while it lasts." Scarlett told her sister with a small shrug. "Your friends won't accept me when they find out who I truly am - because I know it will happen eventually! You can't keep secrets buried forever- especially one as big as this one!"

"No!" Anne-Marie shook her head. "I'll...I'll vouch for you."

Scarlett scoffed softly at that. "Like that will change their minds on the perfect and snobby Scarlett Montague!" Anne-Marie noted that she sounded rather bitter, but she ignored it because she knew that her friends would give Scarlett a chance - especially if they knew her before they found out who she truly was.

When the sisters arrived at the Chateau, everyone else was already there waiting for them both. "Sorry we're late." Anne-Marie apologised sheepishly. "Someone was struggling on deciding whether painting her nails was more important or not!" As Scarlett sat down in a chair she mimicked her sister, making Pope chuckle and JJ scoff since they were the only ones who saw it.
