Val's POV

After maybe a couple hours worth I had been dangling elves came down from the trees as they cut me and the dwarves.

"My lady are you lost?" Legolas asked. Danngggg he was hot but I loved Fili more.

"No I'm accompanying the dwarves." I smiled politely "I suppose you'll be taking my weapons since I'm with them."

"You are not a dwarf." Legolas observed "you have the grace of an elf."

"T-thank you."

"But yes I will be taking your weapons." He smirked as he got my sword and bow and arrows.

"We shall take them to the king for he will decide." Legolas ordered as we marched through the forest and into the halls of Mirkwood. The halls were more beautiful than I expected as I stated in awe. Thorin and I were in a group while the rest of the company was dragged away.

"Val!" Fili struggled

"Fili it's okay! " I said reassuringly as he nodded and went with the elves. Soon I was left alone in the hall as the guards watched me. After a time Thorin came out anger in his eyes as the guards brought him away.

"Send her in." Legolas ordered as I was pushed into the throne room.

"Who are you and what are you doing in my kingdom?" Thrandruil asked

"I am Lady Valencia at your service." I said stooping low in a bow.

"If you are at my service then tell me, why would a pretty girl like you be with a company of thirteen dwarves?" Thrandruil circled me as I begin to get a little nervous.

"Did the King under the mountain not tell you?" I asked

"I'm aware of what he said but I want your say in the matter."

"I was visited by Gandalf the Grey and he asked me to come on this journey. I agreed willingly and I've been on the journey ever since."

"A girl? On a quest?" Thrandruil pondered "what use would you be to the company?"

"Gandalf said that I would be great use. " I said trying not to reveal much. "Surely you being friends with the Grey wizard know that there is more to it that beats the eye."

"Indeed. Well do you think you can do it?"

"I believe I can do anything I want to do. Gandalf brought me here. And if he brought me here he brought me for a reason. I think very highly of Gandalf. And I've grown fond of the dwarves-"

"Too fond in fact." Thrandruil smirked "you love the blonde dwarf."

"Indeed he is my fiancée " as Thrandruils eyes widened in surprise.

"Well I have a deal with you." Thrandruil proposed "leave the dwarves and your fiancé and live here in luxury with me. My son favors you. I can see the way he looks at you that he really favors you."

What? I froze. He's lying. He's lying there's no way.

"I barely know your son." I stalled

"You can have all the time you need. If you want he can profess his love right now-"

"That won't be necessary-"

"Legolas!" Thrandruil called as the guards left

"Yes?"

"Over time, would you consider marrying this girl?" Thrandruil asked as a tinge of pink went on Legolas's face

"Well I don't know..."

"That won't be necessary because I'll be loyal to the dwarves." I said saving Legolas who shot me the most grateful look.

"You have one chance to live luxury with me. You could be a princess have my son-"

"No l. I decline." I said blushing a bright red. This was just too awkward with Thrandruil setting me up.

"Very well take her away." Thrandruil waved as Legolas left.

I was brought down to the dugeons in the same cell with Fili.

"Val your okay!" He said hugging me. "What happened?"

"Well he offered me a deal to leave you guys and live in luxury-" I posed dramatically "and to marry his son"

"What? That elf-" Fili began but I grabbed his face with my hands

"Sunshine I would hope you would have faith in me that your own fiancé wouldn't dump her one true love for someone she doesn't know."

He looked down ashamed "I'm sorry. I just love you too much-"

I kissed him as our noses touched "I know. I know." I leaned on his shoulder as he wrapped a arm around me. "So what do we do now? "

"There is one person that could make it."

"Bilbo!" Fili whispered
