Into Another World (Fili Fanfic)

Valencias POV
We spent the entire day getting food supplies medical supplies and anything else we needed. We started on our way back that evening as we ran into Bofur bombur bifur oin and Gloin as we made our way to Bag end.

Suddenly Bofur sidles up and says "Fili really likes you Ya know. "

"He does?" I croaked as he nodded

"Do you like him?" He asked

I thought, I really do. He's funny sweet kind caring. And not because I'm just a simple fangirl.

"I do. He's kind and genuine and it's something hard to find back in my world."

"Do you... Ever think about living here?"

It took me by suprise. I would definitely miss home but this would be a opportunity for a lifetime.

"I never thought about it.." I said quietly as we arrived as Gandalf knocked.

"Gandalf. " Bilbo said tiredly "hello Valencia"

"Hello. At your service." I bowed again as he opened the door.

"VAL!" Kili yelled as he hugged me in a bear hug

"Since when have I been Val?" I laughed as he let go. The other dwarves embraced me as one of there own. Like family. Except for one.

Fili came through the doorway looking relieved to see me

"Val!" He said as he ran spinning me and then hugging me. "Glad you made it! "

"Me too Fili me too. Oh and since when have I been known as Val?"

"Well everyone needs a nickname so I thought why not Val?"

"Ok then you'll be sunshine and Kili will be kiwi" I teased

"Hey I'm not complaining. " he smiled

"Valencia! Good to see you! " Dwalin smiled. "Come give us a hand with the food!"

Soon everyone was eating as poor Bilbo watched in surprise as they are all of his food.then they began the clean up song that they sang in the book. Suddenly a loud knock came upon the door.

"He's here." Gandalf said as me and Bilbo rushed for the door.

"Gandalf. You said it would be easy to find. I lost my way twice. Oh hello Valencia good to see you again. " He gave a small smile.

"At your service." I bowed

"So this is the hobbit?" Thorin asked doubtfully

"Well if you must know Thorin, Gandalf chose him himself and he's got more that beats the eye." I vouched for Bilbo as he sent me a grateful look.

"Very well what is your weapon of choice?" He asked

"I have some skills in conquers if you must know"

"Shall we get to business then?" I cut in as Thorin nodded

Thorin then began to speak of the mission that we are to go upon as Bilbo then began to read the contract.

"Inceneraion?? " Bilbo asked fearfully

"Think furnace with wings! " Bofur simplified.

"Nope! " Bilbo said as he proceeded to faint.

"Well done Bofur really I applaud you. " I rolled my eyes

"Any time lads." He grinned

"I'm going to take him to his room. " I announced as Fili stood up.

"I'll come help you." Fili volunteers

We carried him to a arm chair as I made tea.

"So what did you and Gandalf do?" He asked curiously as my back was facing him.

"We went to the market and got supplies for the journey and tried to convince Bilbo to come with us."

"Do you think.... He will help us? "

"I think he will. This is an opportunity for a lifetime . "

He stepped up closer as I turned to stare in his blue eyes. Oh Valar help me now. We stared for a moment before he asked another question.

"Do you think your an asset tot the team?"

"I-I think so. Gandalf and Thorin say so and I think very highly of them. Maybe I'll surprise myself." I laughed softly.

"We'll be having that tea Valencia." Gandalf interrupted as Fili jumped a foot in the air as he backed away and left.

I handed the tea to Bilbo as he nodded in gratitude.

"Can you promise that I will come back?" Bilbo asked

"No. But if you do, you will not be the same." Gandalf replied

"Hmn. Sorry Gandalf I can't sign this." He decided

"Bilbo instead of thinking all the what ifs think of why not?" I blurted "this is an opportunity for adventure. And it would be an excellent story to tell..."

"Sorry Valencia I can't." I nodded and left where the dwarves waited.

"He's not coming." I announced. I sat next to Fili as Thorin began to sing

"Far over the misty mountains cold....."

I felt arms wrapped around me as I fell into a deep dreamless sleep.
