Jess' P.O.V
I awoke in Louis' embrace, a perfect start to my morning. Forever would I love to lay here in his warmth and thrive off of his love, but my mind had other plans.
It's still not safe here.
Louis stirred in his sleep next to me. I hadn't realized I had actually sat up in bed, the familiar body heat gone from me and he as well, as he slightly frowned. I slowly laid back down and tucked my head under his chin. I looked up as his eyes opened a bit, still foggy with sleep.
"Shh," I hushed him soothingly. "Go back to sleep, Lou."
He hummed a response, nudging me closer to him until I was flush against his chest. He smelled so good. I happily groaned into his chest as he rubbed my back. When his movements ceased I assumed he was asleep again. His arms were slack around me so I carefully removed them and slipped out from the bed. It was so cold in the shack, no heater, only a fireplace. But I supposed getting up to get wood would be more noisy then going down to the dining room table to think.
So I proceeded downstairs, my silky nightgown flowing as I went down the stairs. I sat at the table quietly trying to think of where Louis and I could go. Somewhere that no one knew about. Somewhere no one would suspect us, but still close to the city resources.
I was so deep in thought I didn't hear Louis creak down the old stairs. I was biting my lip nervously when two firm hands were placed on my shoulders followed by a peck on the cheek.
"Whatcha' thinkin' about babe?" Louis asked as he rubbed my shoulders. It felt so nice at a time like this.
"A place we could go. That's safer, I mean," I explained as he sat down next to me, taking my hand.
"Do you doubt that I can keep you safe?" He inquired.
"No, it's not that. I trust you, one hundred percent," I said earning a smile from him. "It's more that I just want us to live together in peace. Without trouble."
"I want that more than anything in the world, is to be with you," He sighed and reached over to put a piece of hair behind my ear.
His hand moved from my hair to my face as he rubbed a finger over my cheek then down to my lips. He pouted.
"What?" I giggled, pushing his finger away when he tried to stick it in my mouth.
"You're too far away, come sit in my lap."
I rolled my eyes, took his hand and led him to the couch instead. He frowned as he sat down but then smiled when I climbed into his lap.
"That's better," he mumbled in my ear as he placed kisses down the backside of my neck, making me shiver. I felt him smile against my skin and I turned around, determined to strip his cockiness from him. I was too slow obviously, I huffed when he brought his hands up to cup my face.
Oh boy.
He smirked down at me and I pouted. He was going to tease me because he knew he made me jumpy. I acted like I was going to get up when he tugged me back down whimpering a "don't go" and I adjusted myself on his lap again, knowing what this did to him.
Two can play at this game.
I finally settled, earning a moan from Louis. I knew I won when he got closer and finally encased my lips in his soft thin ones. He pressed quick kisses on my lips then swiped his tongue against my bottom lip. I wrapped my arms around his waist and he dipped his tongue into my mouth. We had never kissed like this before, it was always quick and sweet. But this was something else. His tongue was warm and sweet. If I hadn't of been sitting my legs would be quaking by now. He moaned into my mouth as my tongue met his. I sighed in satisfaction when I pushed his tongue back into his own mouth and ended our make out with a sloppy wet kiss on his tender lips.
I blushed when he leaned back into me wanting more.
"Maybe later, lover boy," I teased, pushing his face away with my palm.
"Always been such a cock block, haven't cha?" His voice squeaking. I laughed softly and turned on the TV landing on the news station.
"This just in, James Tomlinson has been evacuated from his home on Henderson Lane after police heard reports from neighbors on the basis of drug and alcohol abuse. Tomlinson, 54, will be placed in custody as of this morning. Back to you Kate."
I turned and looked up at Louis, his expression unreadable. Just when I thought he'd blow up he suggested something that surprised me.
"Why don't we go live in my dad's house?"
"Are you sure Louis? Wouldn't that be too obvious?"
"Not at all, the police will never suspect we're hiding there. Besides, people are always wary of condemned houses. They won't come near it."
The whole ordeal seemed pretty risky, but then of course everything we did was. I felt like I was becoming a different person with Louis. No longer was I a sweet teenage girl, but a criminal.
I felt like I could honestly care less if it meant I could be with Louis.
