Louis' P.O.V
"I want to take you on a date."
She sat up in the bed, a questionable look finding it's way onto her face.
"Louis are you crazy?" she asked me. "We'd get caught for sure!"
"Jess, I can't hide you anymore babe. I want to do normal couple-y things with you. Take you out nice places, show the world how lucky I am."
She blushed at my words and covered her face with her hands. I could still see her wide smile despite the blockade. I pulled her hands away from her face and pressed a gentle kiss to her temple which she returned with a sweet kiss on the cheek. She looked at me adoringingly.
"Besides, what are we running from anyway?" I grinned.
A lot. I thought in my mind. The authorites, Jess' parents, fate. All that was claustrophobic to our current state but it wasn't overbearing. I mean, how were we ever going to start a life together if we were cooped up in this crazy house? And I knew for sure I wanted to spend a long time with Jess.
"Okay then. Where are you taking me?"
Jess' P.O.V
I was estatic at the idea of getting out of this house but extremely nervous as well. I weighed my options in my head and decided to take this chance to fly free awhile. After all, we had been living on the edge now for some time.
From the outside, you wouldn't see Louis as the down to earth person I saw him as now. He was truly enchanting, his carefree persona allowing him the accessibility to not feel weighed down by anything. I admired that about him and thought that if we were going to be together that would mean I'd have to develop the same trait.
After some time thinking Louis came up with an idea."I'll take you to the Bluebird," he declared.
The Bluebird was a revamped candy shop turned resteraunt, it was known for serving lunch and desserts perticularly. I laughed at his choice mainly because it wouldn't be romantic at all.
"Why are you laughing?" He pouted.
"You're such a child for a tough guy," I laughed again and punched his shoulder.
"He you better get some nice clothes on before I beat you to a pulp missy," he fake threatened and I cackled as I bent over to look for a dress to throw on.
Louis wolf whistled and I turned around giving him a questioning look. He chuckled lightly as I waited for an explaination.
"You do have a nice ass, I can see how that jerk on the bus wanted you to sit on him."
I swatted at him and continued my search, this time crouching instead of bending over completely. That was the first time Louis had mentioned school and it dawned on me we were missing Senior year and graduation for that fact. I had no idea how we would earn any money to buy a house or something for us to live in.
I found a short blue dress in my clothes pile and began taking of my shirt, not caring Louis was in the room. I looked at him as I slipped my dress over my head making sure it fully covered me before pulling off my pants.
"Beautiful," he complimented.
"Thanks hot stuff," I giggled as I ruffled his hair and scolded him to get dressed as well, heading downstairs to put my shoes on.
When he was finally ready he thumped down the stairs in jeans and a band shirt. He looked hot, as always. We both looked at the door. This was it. Out into the real world. I opened the door and grabbed his hand. It was quiet outside. 7:00 people must be going to bed. The Bluebird was just a ways down the main street. We chatted a bit as we talked, pleasantly surprised no one had stopped us or even bothered to look at us.
We arrived at the cute little shop, vibrant lights flashing around the sign: Est. 1914. We walked inside, Louis pulling me towards a reserved booth in the back. There were only a couple people in there, all reading or preoccupied on their phones. He opened the menu and set it between us.
"What sounds good my love?" He smiled and looked over the menu with me.
My heart fluttered, he never called me that. I mean, he called me love but never my love. I was his and he was mine. I pushed my seat back and lunged over the table, taking his face in my hands and kissing him passionately but briefly.
"What was that for?" He whispered against my lips and gave me short kisses waiting for my answer.
You make my insides tingle.
I couldn't tell him that.
"Just giddy," I sorta lied and sat back down in my seat.
He beamed and decided we'd both be getting sundaes. The waitress came over, smacking her gum loudly and appearing bored. She didn't seem like a threat to our cover at all so I relaxed a bit.
"It'll be right out," she rolled her eyes and popped a bubble.
Louis grabbed my hands, talking about life in general. When our sundaes arrived we devoured them then paid. Upon walking outside we were interrupted.
"Jessica?"
