Liz's POV

"Steven is already waiting in front of the college. I told James while we packed the suitcases in the car.

Ten minutes from here to college. This city is so big.

"Are you...nervous?" James asked. I poked the case of my phone in front of me and just watched the scenery, which was so new and different, that I shook my head.

"It won't work." I mumbled.

"You just have to get used to it and the situation will be easier." He said.

"What if..." I want to ask something, but he interrupted me.

"No. You're finally here. Don't even think about questioning why or what will happen because it's not up to you. I kept hearing that you were succeeding because you never gave up. I expect this from you as soon as we came here." He said and parked in the dormitory parking. We barely stopped already someone opened the door next to me, unhooked my belt, pulled up from the seat and almost strangled me.

"Steven. Let me go. I can't breathe." I mumbled.

"Oh. Sorry! I'm so excited!" He said cheerfully. "Hello James." James just nodded and he began to take the suitcase out of the car.

After I got my key I set off with James and Steven in my college's room to unload and get to know my new roommate. While we went up the stairs, we ran into some students who looked pretty stylish. My stomach tightened. Am I in a good place here?

"Here we are. The 222's room." I said.

"Your room is opposite with mine! Cool!" Steven said excitedly.

After a deep breath I opened the door that was locked so I grabbed the key and opened it with trembling hands. There was no one inside but she was already packed on one of the beds, so that girl must be somewhere here. After I said goodbye to James, I hadn't fully unpacked yet because Steven wanted to go to a café to talk.

"What happened?" Steven asked on the way to the café.

"Hm? Nothing." I shook my head.

"Your face is tormented. You should be happy to be here." He smiled faintly.

"I know. It's just..." I wanted to say but he interrupted me.

"A lot? Huge? Weird? Far?" He asked.

"Exactly." I said.

"Then get used to it after a while. There are a lot of good places here. Don't worry be happy!" He sang. I rolled my eyes with a smile. "Well, this is the Liz I know." I laughed. "By the way, if you want to kill me do it in this city." He said with a laugh.

"I will keep it in my head." I said and nodded. He took out his phone and lifted it to his ear.

"Hallo! Police? I want to announce that someone want to kill me." He said seriously.

"Stop! Someone else really will think I want to kill you but better late than never." I laughed.

"I wouldn't stand so close to you, but there are a lot of people here so watch out because there are eyewitnesses." He said. I just shook my head with a smile.

"What's up with your roommate?" I asked in the café after we ordered our coffee. He blushed.

"Oh. He is very tall." He said.

"And handsome." I said.

"It didn't even occur to me." He mumbled while he looked at his hands.

"On a scale of ten?" I raised my eyebrow.
