"Here you go."

The bartender passed the shot glass to Akaashi and he caught it easily, nodding at the slightly older man once before knocking it down. This was his sixth shot tonight, and he was feeling zestfully tipsy. Akaashi had never been a drinker, he would prefer staying home whenever his best friends went out for drinks with their boyfriends (though that could be because they had boyfriends, and Akaashi was painfully single), but tonight was a different story. Tonight he wanted to get drunk and forget all about his anxieties.

He had gotten back his midterm results this morning and seen that he had succeeded all his courses, just like anyone would expect from the ever studious and smart Akaashi Keiji. His happiness hadn't lasted too long, however, because of course his mother had called him about that one class he had barely passed. And of course Akaashi had started overthinking after talking to his mother, worrying about how he wasn't good enough and how he could never be the highest ranked student with these grades and how he had failed to make his parents proud.

And then his older friend, Oikawa, had told him he was being stupid by having these ridiculous thoughts and forced him to go out with them so he could let his hair down a bit, and Akaashi had agreed, shocking both himself and his friends. That's how he had ended up in this nightclub and immediately gotten to drinking.

He put the glass back down on the counter and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, his eyes lazily browsing through the club to find the friends he had lost in the crowd a while ago. It was a Friday night so the club was packed with all kinds of people, and the air was heavy with the smell of sweat and alcohol and a mixture of body colognes, and normally Akaashi would be disgusted by it but right now he couldn't really be bothered. He was busy enjoying the lightness, the haziness he got to experience once in a blue moon.

I guess they will find me before they leave.

Shrugging to himself with a lopsided smile on his face, Akaashi turned to the bartender and shouted, "Pour me another one!"

"Woah, woah. Aren't you going a little too fast?"

Akaashi turned his head towards the unfamiliar voice, and his breath caught in his throat at the sight his eyes met. Right in front of him stood a very handsome, very attractive man, more specifically an alpha, leaning against the counter with his muscular arms crossed over his chest. He was wearing an elegant grey suit, a few of the top buttons of his dress shirt undone and the navy blue tie around his neck loosened. He looked to be around the same age as Akaashi, but the outfit made him think he was a little bit older. Probably something like 27.

He had strange black and white hair, something Akaashi had never seen before (because who dyed their hair black and white, what the fuck?), but the neat, slicked back style made him look a thousand times more attractive. His gaze then fixed on the man's handsome face, and he thanked every god that he didn't have a drink in his hand at that moment because he would've dropped it when he saw those beautiful, dazzling golden eyes. Which were staring right back at him!!

Akaashi blinked a few times. "Sorry? Were you talking to me?"

The handsome stranger's lips tilted up into a charming smile. "Yeah, I was talking to you. It hasn't even been an hour since you came here and you're already on your seventh shot."

He's been keeping tabs on me? What the hell?

"Last time I checked," Akaashi started, lifting his elbows up onto the counter and leaning back against it. He eyed the man from head to foot. "My dad didn't look like this."
