Akaashi swallowed his last bite of onigiri and opened his mouth wide once again, looking over at the Alpha who was holding another onigiri in hand expectantly.
“Another one.” He voiced his thoughts when Bokuto continued to just stare at him with a silly grin on his face. “Give me another one, Bo! How long am I supposed to wait for you to feed me another one?”
Bokuto threw his head back and laughed, deepening the frustrated frown on his face.
“You're so cute, Akaashi, especially when you're impatient for food like this.” He said before bringing the onigiri in his hand to Akaashi's mouth.
Akaashi shot him a deadly look as he bit into the food and kept glaring at him through his lashes while he chewed his bite. Bokuto stared right back at him, clearly waiting for the expression on his face to soften, and one corner of his mouth lifted up awkwardly in a small smile when Akaashi didn’t back out.
The Alpha placed his free hand on his cheek to stroke it softly. “Hey hey, I'm not making fun of you, really. You're just so so cute, Kaashi.”
Akaashi knew Bokuto meant every word he said, and he wasn't even mad at the Alpha in the first place, but it was way too fun to tease him like this. Bokuto always gave the best reactions.
“Mm, sure.” Akaashi mumbled lowly and turned his head away, causing the hand on his cheek to slip off. “It's obvious you're making fun of me. I won’t be surprised when you start calling me fat, too.”
Well, he wasn't fat, not really, but it was a real fact that he had gained a total of 7.5 pounds ever since the beginning of his pregnancy. He was about to enter his fourth month, too, in just a few days he was going to be four months pregnant, and so his belly had also gotten bigger and rounder, making him look a few pounds heavier than he actually was. Some days he looked at himself in the mirror and felt like crying when he saw how big he had gotten, some days he embraced and caressed his belly and got filled with the wonderful feeling of carrying an innocent little life inside himself. His mood changed literally every minute, and he loved it and hated it at the same time.
“HUH?” Bokuto shrieked, making him jump on the couch. “Really, Kaashi? You're really not expecting me to do that, right? I mean, I'm not even like that, you should know.”
Akaashi tried so hard to hold back his laughter so he could continue his game a bit longer, but when he twisted his head to look at Bokuto, the funny expression on his face made him burst into laughter. He couldn't help it. Bokuto looked so cute, so ridiculous with his mouth agape and eyebrows furrowed, and Akaashi loved him way too much.
He saw a pout make its way to Bokuto's lips through the tears that had gathered in his eyes and laughed even harder. His belly hurt from laughing so much, but he just couldn't stop.
“I can't believe you. You're such a mean pregnant, making fun of your baby daddy like that.”
He barely even heard Bokuto as his ears were full of his own laughter.
“S-s-sorry. I'm s-sorry.” He managed to say in between laughs, wiping tears from his eyes with one hand and holding his belly with the other. “I'm sorry. Y-your reactions are just the best.”
Bokuto's jaw fell open. “That's so rude, Akaashi. I'm so hurt, I feel so used.”
The Alpha shoved the half-eaten onigiri in his mouth and crossed his arms over his chest before turning away from him like a five year old child. Akaashi wanted to reach out and wrap his arms around his neck and pepper kisses all over his face until he stopped sulking, and he did just that, supressing the urge to leave one of his kisses on those plump, pouty lips. He kissed his cheek, his jaw, the tip of his nose, the mole right under his eyebrow and both of his eyelids before pulling back to look him in the eye.
