Akaashi unlocked the door to the small apartment he shared with his friends Oikawa and Kenma as quietly as he could, his teeth clenched and breath held deep in his lungs. All he wanted right now was to get his tail into his room without running into his roommates. Only then he would be able to breathe a sigh of relief. It was 8:30am, and neither of them would wake before 11 on Saturdays even if a bomb went off, but being extra cautious wouldn't hurt.
Both of them were probably aware he hadn't come home last night, and he really wasn't looking forward to telling them about how he had let a stranger take him home. Telling them that he had literally slept with said stranger? God forbid. Though if they saw him, they would probably be able to tell from the way he was... limping a little bit. Kenma would probably just laugh it off, which was already embarrassing enough, but Oikawa would never let him live it down. Akaashi was pretty sure he would never be able to forget about last night, but still.
He took off his shoes and placed them on the shoe rack before tiptoeing to his room with his bag clutched to his chest. Immediately closing the door behind himself and locking it for extra measure, he let out the breath he had been holding and let his body fall down onto his bed. What he needed right now was a long, warm shower and a big breakfast, and probably a painkiller to ease the pounding of his head, but instead he just lay on his bed, thinking about Bokuto and the wonderful night they had spent together and how he had literally stormed out of his place right after waking up in his arms.
Akaashi wished so bad he could’ve stayed with him until he woke up, maybe taken a shower together and had a nice breakfast, but he had been way too embarrassed to face him in the morning. Especially after seeing the red scratches he had left on his back.
They did look so good on that sexy back though. Nicely done, Keiji.
He shook his head in an attempt to get these shameful thoughts out of his head and got back up on his feet, walking over to his small closet to pick out a pair of grey sweatpants and a white hoodie. He also snatched a pair of clean boxers and placed them all on his bed before quietly exiting his room and running down to the bathroom. He really needed a shower, and he needed to take it before his friends woke up so he wouldn't have to explain anything. He assumed Oikawa would question him about his whereabouts in any case but right now, so early in the morning and with an empty stomach, he wasn't ready to tell him about his Friday night adventures, especially with all the spicy details his brunette friend was sure to request.
Once in the shower, Akaashi washed his hair and body leisurely, massaging the coconut scented shampoo into his scalp to help ease his headache even just a tiny bit. He soaped up his entire body with his vanilla soap, rubbing it softly against his sore muscles and rinsed off quickly before turning off the water and stepping out of the shower. Wrapping a towel around his body and putting on his slippers he made his way to the door and pressed his ear against it to listen for any sounds that would indicate his friends were awake, and hearing nothing but silence he heaved out a sigh before turning the doorknob.
The bathroom door opened all the way only to reveal a very distressed looking Oikawa. And he was currently opening his mouth to probably scold Akaashi.
Oh, fuck no.
“Aka-chan! Where the hell were you last night and who the fuck were you with and what in the ever loving hell did you fucking do and why didn't you come home oh my god we were so worried you fucking dumbass you could've at least texted-“
“Oh my god, shut up Oikawa-san.” Akaashi whined, grasping his pounding head. “My head is giving me enough hell right now. Can we please talk about this later?”
