The next day, it was competition day

The running squad rode a van to the venue, jungkook was on call with chaeyoung at the hospital, he reassured her they were going to visit her after the match so, she can just sit and rest

Sihyeon, shooting her shot, tried to take a seat next to taehyung, on the seat chaeyoung always reserved for herself

Before she laid her body on the seat, she was stopped by jungkook who was still on call, he covered his phone speaker and said

"no one sits there, it's reserved"

"by who? i don't see anyone here? "

"it's only either chaeyoung or his bag, anything other than that, no. " jungkook warned

Sihyeon laughed at his statement and asked taehyung himself

"is this seat empty?" she brushed her hair to the side

"are you deaf? he just explained it's either chaeng or my bag, nothing or no one else" he plucked his earphones in

Embarrassed, sihyeon grabbed her bag and sat beside jimim who was laughing at her embarrassing act, it was fun to see though, taehyung defending chaeyoung indirectly

"okay, we're almost there, I'll hang up first okay, guys say goodbye to chae" jungkook held his phone up high

"bye chaeyoung!" they yelled at the same time, smiling at each other

AT THE HOSPITAL

"bye chaeyoung!" she heard from the other line, she smiled, seeing how they were all so excited, they sounded like they were enjoying their time

Chaeyoung continued watching the television placed in front of her, she was spending her time resting and healing, she invited other people to come join her too as she didn't want to feel alone

"are you going to watch their match on live stream?" a patient sitting on the cushion beside chaeyoung's bed raised a question

"no, i just know they're going to win, so why bother" she said confidently

She was visited by jaehyun just a while ago, she told him not to visit her too often as she wanted to spend more time alone healing and he agreed, although now she's the one inviting people to her ward

Fast forward to a few hours later at the competition venue

For now, they successfully secured two wins and a guarantee to go to the pre final round for both men solo 100 meter

For the 200 meter chaeyoung always ran for, although there can't be any replacement for solo events, the sponsor decided to give her a free ride to final in woman's 200 meter, it was because her record was definitely sometimes to write down in history and they all wanted to see her performance in the final round when sh goes up against other good and very talented runner

In the case of Kim Sihyeon, she was rejected by the manager of the event to make her a replacement, especially since she wasn't qualify even in the preliminaries but after a bunch of pulling strings, they let her to run just this once

Just the first competition and she already make them go through problems

Now, they're all practicing for the relay race, as sihyeon's both skills and speed was dramatically different from chaeyoung, they had to make her the third runner, they even had to change strategies for everyone to sprint and not stabilize

"runners! to the track, now, move move move! " the organizer called

Taehyung and jimin went to the left side while sihyeon and jungkook went to the left side
