Chapter 19:~Coronation~

(Next day in The Light
Kingdom)

Elora entered the throne room in her coronation dress.

A pair of silver diamond earrings and a silvery diamond necklace

And a pair of silver slippers.

Elladan was behind her since he would be crowned King.
And Elora knelt before the priest who placed the silvery crown with diamonds on her head.

And she stood up and sat down on her throne.

"Long Live The Queen!,"The People said in unison.
And the priest placed a crown on Elladan's head.

And Elladan sat down on the throne beside his wife and Queen.

"Long Live The King!," The People said in unison.
And Elora looked at her husband. Now they would have to work together as King and Queen. How would that go? They barley know each other. And she knew that there was no chance they would consummate their marriage until she trusted him completely and knew him better.

"Your Majesty," A man greeted Elora. And they sat down at the dinner.

After a while, Elora went out into the garden. Her eyes was glowing because of her stress and nervousness. She couldn't go in until she had calmed down. But she didn't notice the dark dust that was falling down upon her. But she started to sing,

Tired of all these cameras flashing, sick of being poised
And now my neck is open wide, begging for a fist around it
Already choking on my pride, so there's no use crying about it

And she went into the castle again, not looking back and didn't hear the evil laughter in the wind.

She entered the hall again. And Elladan went over to her,
"You okay? Have something happened?,"
Elora shook her head, "I'm fine, Elladan, thank you,"
And she tried to walk past him when he grabbed her arm carefully,
"Elora, if you allow me, I would hoped I would be welcomed to visit your new chambers tonight,"
Elora swallowed, "I can't do this. We'll talk later, okey," And she hurried away from her husband.
And Elladan sighed,
*What am I doing wrong? I care about her deeply? How is our relationship going to work if she keeps shutting me out? Did it have something to with her past with Cirdan? Had she been in love before and Cirdan had done something to stop her from being with him? I need help. I need to talk to my father and ask him for advice to get Elora open herself to me, to get her to trust me. I would never do anything to hurt her. If something happened to her, I would do anything to save her*

And Elladan went to find his wife.

Elora stood on the balcony of The Light Kingdom's castle and cried.

"Oh, my dear child, what's happened?,"Elrond's calm voice interrupted.
And Elora turned to her father in law,
"Elrond. I can't do this,"
And Elrond went over to his daughter in law,
"Elora, what's going on? What has happened?," And he put a gentle hand on her shoulder.
"I'm afraid," She admitted.
"Afraid of what, my child?,"Elrond asked,
"You can tell me anything," He assured her.
"I lost control," Elora cried.
"Your powers,"Elrond stated,
"What made you do that, my child?,"
Elora sighed, "Elladan asked me something that made me nervous and scared. It was not something dangerous but I'm afraid anyway,"
"I see. I understand what he asked you,"Elrond explained,
"But that's not only the thing that made you lose control and forced you so far from the public, is it?,"
Elora shook her head, "No, it's my fear of what my father will do if he finds out how powerful and dangerous my powers really is,"
Elrond sighed, "Elora, I've known Thranduil for a very long time. And I understand your fear. But you have to talk about this with him so you don't end up hurting someone. And if you feel safer, I can help you tell him,"
And Elora nodded, "Thank you, Elrond. I will think about it,"
Elrond smiled, "It will be alright Elora," And he clapped her shoulder,
"Let's go back inside. It's soon time for everyone to leave and you to get some rest," And Elora smiled and went back into the castle with Elrond.
