Part 44

Arnav is going to mandap which is in the garden in front of palace with NK. Women are throwing flowers in his path and singing-dancing. This time men also took part by singing and dancing with them. Happiness or joy all around the palace. 

Arnav sat on the place in mandap. Priest ask him to do pooja and he put fire in hawan. Arnav is doing what priest ask him to do but inside he is burning with desire to have a look at his bride. When he hear priest ask for bride, he is looking in the direction for a glimpse of Khushi. 

Khushi is brought by his sisters. Aman, Dev, Shakti and Chirag are holding a veil above her head. Women and men welcome her same as him by making path of flowers and singing-dancing.

Ridhima help her to sit beside Arnav. 

She had a red veil on her head which covered her face but Arnav can feel her nervousness. Her put his right had on her waist which increases her nervousness. He gave her warmth of his hand. His ma saw the naughty glim in his eyes which raise her doubt that her son is doing something with her daughter in law. 

She went to him to put her daughter in law out of misery. She bend down and wishper to Arnav "Arnav don't bother my inocent daughter in law, first complete your wedding then you can do anything with her because then she is your only to do any naughtiness. Now behave."

Arnav know his ma catch him. He turn to gave a naughty smile to show her Khushi is his.

Priest ask for Shashi ji to do kanyadan for Khushi. Shashi ji did her kanyadan with Dev's help. 

Arnav and Khushi hold each other hand, they didn't leave each other hand from the time Shashi gave her hand to Arnav. They complete phere with holding hand, every eyes are moist by seeing their love. They all are happy for them. Arnav and Khushi both eyes also moist when Arnav tie wedding chain and put sindoor in her maang.

Arnav felt some kind of peace inside. He room his eye around him and then his eye look two souls who are happy for them. They are his Papa and Khushi's Neeti Didi.

Flowers shower on them by people around them. Priest anounced them husband and wife, ask to take blessings from elders. First both went to take blessings from Jhanvi then Shashi. After them they took blessings from every elder in family along with Guru ji and Guru ma.

Marwar people shower them with flowers and their blessings.

Guru ji ask Jhanvi to do welcome her daughter in law. Jhanvi do Khushi's grah pravesh.

First Jhanvi took couple to mandir in palace to light Diya there by Khushi. 

Guru ma ask them to come. They went to hall were their are many people who are waiting for them. 

Jhanvi said "Khushi - Arnav this is the last ritual for today then you can take rest."

They saw a big brass bowl with mixture of milk, water and rose petals.

Arti said "Arnav - Khushi you both sat opposite to each then we started this game."

Khushi know what it is but Arnav is little confused but do as said bu Chachi ji.

In this bowl we drop a ring you both have to find that ring, it is done fir thrice. Who got maximum time ring from this bowl will be winner and that person rule the house. 

Arnav is all ready to do that but Jhanvi said "before that you have to unite the knots of you Kangna (holy thread tied on groom and bride before marriage) with one hand only. It's a test of your patience in your married life. First Arnav untied first knot then Khushi likewise you both have to untied all 7 knots."

"Khushi put you hand forward."

Women are singing songs and all are cheering them.

Arnav easily first knot but Khushi face difficulty with her small hand. 

(Guys I really loved this ritual. This is not test of patience and power but technique also)

Like that both open all 7 knots. Now time for ring play, in that Khushi won first round, second round is won by Arnav. For third round Khushi gave ring to Arnav to let him win. Arnav won that round with Khushi's help. Then Arnav put that ring in Khushi's hand.

Jhanvi said "now today's rituals are complete. Tomorrow at 10 am muh dikhai will done so please come for that." She said to her guest. Everyone left for their home to come tomorrow for muh dikhai.

They send guests with gift. Khushi is still in veil.

Jhanvi ask girls to take Khushi to Arnav's room and ask Arnav to follow her. Arnav know what is waiting for him. He saw his Chacha ji is looking at him with serious face. He rise his eyebrow and gave a naughty smile. Chacha ji got embressed and went away.

Jhanvi and Arnav come to Jhanvi's room. After locking the door, she went to cupboard and bring a jewellery box.

Jhanvi "Arnav you have to gave a gift to her on her moh dikhai. You are the first one to do today on your wedding night. Arnav I hope you remember what I ask you."

Arnav "ma I know. You don't worry just relax tomorrow itself Khushi and I took throne by completing our marriage."

Jhanvi "Arnav I know I am pressurized you both but what I ask from you both is for your betterment."

Arnav "ma if you let me go them only I can make Khushi mine in full sense. You know I need more time."

Jhanvi look at him with open mouth. She slap him on shoulder said "Badmash. Is this thing discuss with ma "

Arnav "ma only you are saying I am just replied."

Arnav went out by saying "I will put don't distrub board outside my room."

Arnav went to his room. He found younger clan outside his room. He know what is waiting for him.

He said "guys give me a break I need good sleep before other rituals. It's back to back I am doing one or other things. I am tired."

Lavanya "Arnav today you have to pay entry fee to enter inside your room."

Arnav put his hand inside the pocket. They all are waiting. They are impatient. They made biggest mistake to leave the way to his room open for Arnav.

Arnav look at the way. He know his coast his clear. He act fast by entering into the room and locked it.

Outside everyone doesn't get what happen in a friction of second. Bhavana beating door and ask him to come out.

By hearing noise rest come expect Shashi who has gone to take rest.

Abhay "what happen why are you shouting."

Bhavana "papa look Arnav didn't give us anything and he cheat us."

Abhay smile and said "beta did you hear something like nazar hati durghatna gati so beta now nothing can we do. You have to wait for morning."

She stomping her foot and left with rest. All are shocked and sad to miss the great opportunity to test ASR patience.

Whereas Arnav is laughing like hell. Khushi somehow guess what happen. 

Khushi is sitting in the middle of bed with veil covering his face.

Arnav turn and saw her. He thought "rest can wait but now this is their time. First he need to make Khushi get comfortable otherwise he don't know what his Khushi thought about him."
