Elijah POV -

"Mommy! Mommy! Me and Diego made you breakfast!"

I wake up hearing my little girl yelling as she waddles into the room. She's wearing her favorite frog pajama pants and a Captain America shirt that is obviously too big for her little body. I can't help but smile as I sit up in the bed to get a better look at her as she comes up to the foot of the bed.

"Good morning Daddy!" She says with an adorable smile on her face as she uses all her strength to get on the bed and sit in front of me  on her knees.

"Good morning sunshine." I say with enthusiasm that I know I don't have at this time in the morning unless my little girl is in the room. "Do I get my good morning kiss?" I ask raising an eyebrow at her and getting a shy smile in return.

"Yes..." She says and stands up using my shoulders as support as she leans over gives me a kiss on the cheek.

"Well thank you my angel." I say as she stands rocking back and forth on her feet with her hands behind her back. "Now what is this I hear about breakfast?" I ask eyeing her.

"Diego says I have to get Mommy, it's a birday surprise." She says whispering the last part to me.

"How about you go get your brother and then we can all go see Mommy's surprise together? Sound good munchkin?"

"I'm no munchkin Daddy!"

"Well I'm taller than you."

"Nuh uh, only your legs." she says with a cute pouty face on.

"The rest of my body to." I tell her.

"Nuh-uh! Mommy says your head too small."

"What?" I ask sounding surprised. "Alright, go get Diego and we're gonna give Mommy the tickle machine so she'll wake up." I say sounding slightly evil for theatrics to get my little girl excited.

"Okay!" She says and gets off the bed and runs out to go find her brother.

"That's going to be really hard considering I'm already awake."

I look down beside me to see my wife turning so she's lying on her back and a goofy smile playing her lips. She looks up at me and then yawns stretching out her arms and legs. She lets out a sigh and looks back up at me with her eyebrow raised.

"You really think I have a small head?" I ask pushing back my slightly long hair.

"Yup, and that big brain of yours doesn't stretch it out one bit."

"It is not that big." I say rubbing my head and giving her a pouty lip. She laughs while doing a face palm and making me smile in the process.

"Well I would hope its big considering you're a chemical engineer."

"Yes but I think your brain is still bigger than mine."

"Oh, because being a journalist takes so much brain work that I need a huge brain to accomplish the job."

"Doesn't it?" I ask sarcastically.

"No." She says ending the conversation.

"Well then... I'll just collect my morning kiss and have that next to my embarrassment of the morning." I say seriously and lean down to kiss her when I'm suddenly met by her finger.

"Not with morning breath Mr."

"Mommy!" A little shriek cuts in before I can give my comeback.

We both turn to our doorway to see our little girl standing there with a big toothy smile playing her face. Her long brown hair is flowing down her back as she reaches up one of her little hands to push some strands behind her ear. Both of us can't help but smile at her until Mrs. Mommy gets a look at my little girl's clothes.
