“Wow, now I know you’re crazy, wait no, you're just so blind it's almost funny” Skye says once she gets over the shock of my statement.

“Listen I don’t want to fight, so just tell me the truth and I will drop it. But I want to hear you admit it yourself.”

“Don't talk about the truth like you know what it is Gabby.”

“What is that supposed to mean?” I ask not getting what she's trying to tell me.

“Haley told you the truth and you didn't want to hear it. So I'm not going to waste my time by telling you all over again because I have better things to do.”

“Like make out with my boyfriend?” I say as if pointing out the obvious to her.

“Does the guy have a spell on you or something? Or are you just naturally stupid?” she asks with a sarcastic tone that still sounds pretty serious.

“Excuse me?”

“You guys shut up!” Eli cuts in screaming. “If either one of you really cared about Haley then you would stop this pointless yelling and get back to looking for her.”

“But she-“

“It doesn’t matter what she did or didn’t do, right now we need to focus on finding Haley and being there for her. Got it?” He snaps at Skye and me.

“Whatever.” I say moodily.

“I didn’t even start it in the first place.” I hear Skye mumble but she doesn’t say anything else.

“Okay, now where do we go Gabby?” Eli asks me.

“Well Sheila said that there was a door around here that we go through and we just need to find it.”

“Did she say where the door was?”

“She said that it was green and it wasn’t that hard to find we just had to keep an eye out.”

He nods at my answer and starts walking around the garden looking for the door. I go the opposite way as him and start looking for it as well. I give Skye a quick glare and she moves to go look for the door too.

“Found it.” Skye says from her corner of the garden. Eli and I make our way toward Skye and I can see an old green door that looks like it was older than the church itself. I look at Skye and Eli and they give me a look that makes me think they want me to open the door.

“Open it already would ya?” Skye says confirming my thoughts.

“Right sorry.” I say and reach out to grab the handle.

I turn the knob and push on the door so it can open; the door makes a creaky noise but the noise soon stops and the door opens smoothly. I step through the doorway and am met by a dim light hovering above me and a flight of stairs going downward somewhere.

I take the first step and see that they are cement stairs and are not creaking at all as I walk down them. They go down in a spiral pattern making me kind of dizzy as I continue to walk. I reach the bottom of the stairs only to find that it ends into a small dim hallway with another wooden door only this time instead of green it’s brown. I turn around and see Eli and Skye looking at me with a concerned look on their face as they notice that I stopped walking.

“Why’d you stop?” Skye asks with an annoyed attitude.

“We’re here.” I say simply.

“Well I don’t see Haley anywhere.”

“It’s just through that door and up a flight of stairs.”

“So then what are we waiting for?”
