Luke sits on the chair opposite of Rylee. She offered him the oven-heated beefsteak which was her lunch leftovers, a soda and a cup of rice.
No one dares to talk as both were hungry savaging the food neatly arranged at the dining.
" Thank you. You saved me. " Luke declared holding Rylees' hand and squeezing it.
" Saved you for what? That's the only food I got, and honestly, I am hesitant to share it with you. But since you mentioned it, you're welcome! Can you removed your hands now? " She asked half blushing. She then sliced the red apples and offered it to him.
"We have been talking since I got here but, I still do not know your name Ma'am? " He inquired.
Why it is that Luke calling her Ma'am sent goosebumps down her spine? She should be happy to be called Ma'am, because it means he respected her so much but, at the back of her mind, she do not want to be respected by Luke. She wanted to be disrespected? Oh, God!
"Oh, the name is Rylee and ...that is all you need to know. As you can see, I have only one little bed, a little couch a little dirty kitchen. All are little which means if you stay and sleep with me the whole night, both of us will be uncomfortable." She highlighted.
"So, that means you allowed me to stay for the night? Oh, wow! That is great! Thanks Rylee. I'm in for that. I am not here to sleep either. All I need is just a place to spend my night with. I found your place homely and I guess, I am okay with it as long as you are here with me ." He said trying to stare at her eyes.
He can't help but look into her brown tantalizing orbs, with long-dark eyelashes covering it emphasizing an unreadable emotion towards him.
One moment he decided that she liked him but she immediately withdraw the emotion covering a cold one.
"I will wash the dishes." He offered.
Unsure of what she heard, Rylee picked up her glass at the same time with Luke. His fingers covered hers and they just gazed at each other for a long time. He felt an electrical heat that travels his body sending his entire being into a shock affecting his manhood to stand erect, again. He withdrew his hands right away as she might think he is taking disadvantage of her and he would not like that.
He was born and raised as a decent man and not some kind of crazy wild animal devouring its prey once it has a great advantage. He would not want to break the trust given to him by her and he knows this is just a start.
He do not know what he is thinking but he is sure that he wanted this woman more than anything else.
