"Do what? "
"You winked at me."
"I can't help it. I just like it."
"Hey, don't do it again. "
"Why? "
"It is unethical of you to wink at me when we are alone at my house. " She lied but somehow happy and she does not know why. They started to just joke around and it made her heart flutter. Her liking him is impossible right now or is it possible to like a stranger so much you just met?
Luke finished his beer and noticed that Rylees' can was untouched. He snatched it from her and begin drinking as if he is very thirsty from an energy drainer exercise.
He started to feel a little bit dizzy and managed to position himself comfortably at the inviting small soft couch.
"I guess, I can no longer accompany you till morning. I promise you I will not do anything to harm you. Go to sleep now Rylee. Have a goodnight."
Without waiting for her reply, Luke falls into a deep sleep.
Morning comes like a blink of an eye. Sleeping never visited Rylee. Her laundry was already done. She also had cleaned the house, changed her bedsheet and curtains and had prepared some coffee.
"Good morning."
She heard a voice from behind.
"Hi! Hmm, good morning", she shyly answered.
Hurriedly, Luke stood up, finger comb his hair. He knew Rylee had not rest based on her big eyebags.
"I need to get going. You go get some rest. Thank you for the night. "
"Your welcome. Do not forget your things. "
"Goodbye."
Just like that. She had seen him waved his hands and he was gone.
"Dream on." She murmured to herself. "You will never see him again. He is just a man you accidentally met, and right away you will forget." Her heart and mind is in trouble right now. She knew that he just stayed for the night but she never expected that he will just say goodbye and no other else. She is somehow hoping that Luke will spend time to get to know her more and he will treasure whatever relationship they have because she knew that both of them felt the all new wonderful feeling being with each others warmth company. She knew that he also felt the happiness within, the completeness she felt being with him as he filled the hole she had being alone for a long time.
