Chapter 13

No one took the initiative to talk when arriving at Rylee's apartment at around 7:00 pm.

Both were completely quiet. They just ordered along the way a pepperoni pizza with simple toppings of tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese.

As she was about to get out of the car, Luke made the move to open the door. He hold her right hand to steady her after slightly jumping out while his left hand is on her waist. She blushed while trying to fish her key inside her bag.

"Allow me."

"I know it's here. "

" Okay. Relax. I will not bite...for now. " He teased.

Trembling, she finally found the key which she gave to Luke.

True enough, after washing up, he settled himself on the couch. His height is bigger than the couch and Rylee knew that it is troublesome for him to lay at this same position overnight.

"Goodnight. " Rylee pronounced.

"Yeah, goodnight. Dream of me tonight. "

" You wish. " Rylee smiles while rolling her eyes.

Feeling extremely happy, she surrendered herself to sleeping.

Luke detected numbness of his legs due to a very uncomfortable position an hour later. He knows he can no longer tolerate it in no time.

Having a glimpse of Rylee resting pleasantly at her sloppy inviting bed, he complied to temptation positioning himself next to her without making any noise.

He kissed her forehead and touch lightly her hair before settling himself to slumber.

Rylee's alarm went on buzzing loudly. Turning it off, she become aware that Luke was no longer at the couch leaving behind a little sticky note.

" Good morning beautiful. Have you slept well? Will pick you up at 7:30."

As promised, he arrived at her place at exactly 7:30 in the morning. He noticed that she put on a pencil styled blue dress reaching her knees topped with a white blazer. Putting on a high heeled stiletto shoes, she looks so impressively stunning.

Luke eyed her from head to toe.

"What?" She inquired.

"I guess, there's no revealing a cleavage today. "

" Hmmm? Am I revealing so much the other day? Does that mean I need to change? "

"None that I can remember.. No. No. It suits you just fine." He answered sincerely.

Judging her appearance, she sure looks hottier...if there is such a word... and sexier even in that office uniform. Her sumptuous butt is highlighted in that dress exposing her smooth white legs. It made him desire her even more. He found himself thinking beyond...beyond that he can't comprehend. He swallowed down the sharp taste of lust which formed in his throat. He run a hand on his hair sighing defeat but covering it with a smile.

" I would like to consider it as a compliment? Your smiling ". Rylee blurted out.

"Yeah, you absolutely looks formal and dignified... and I'm sure I will not be anxious for some random men to be staring at you. "
