Loving You For All The Right Reasons

Chapter 6

After doing the dishes, Luke settled himself in the little couch, thinking of what he will do the entire night. His shirt was a little wet as he is not used to what he just done and a pink apron available is not appropriate for his demeanor.

He knew that Rylee is having her shower as he is hearing a sound from her also little bathroom. He is wondering what it feels like having her in his own shower room and soaking together on his big white jacuzzi and he knows what he will be doing her thereafter.

Fifteen minutes passed before Rylee came out. She is wearing a pair of pink Hello Kitty. She looks so cute and so fresh that he would like to pinch and kiss her cheek.

"You are wet. ", she said.

"Huh? hmm...wet? Oh... oh...yeah, wet. I do not have any shirts and I know yours will not fit either. Can I just borrow a towel?" He said wondering why he mentioned the word "wet" twice.

"I have only one, but I already used it. I just transferred here two days ago thus, I do not have any spare. If it is fine with you, I can lend you my blanket. I never used it since. "

"I see. So, you are a newbie here and just allow some outsider to come? You should have not allowed me or anybody else you don't know of to spent a night with you alone in this little house of yours. " He said, unsure of the reason why he is angry while roaming his eyes in the house. His overprotectiveness naturally comes out of nowhere. 

"So, can I just request you to leave then? "

As shocked as she is, he changed the topic immediately still grateful of his fate tonight.

"Okay, fine. You are lucky I am not one of those bad guys. But, seriously, you should be more careful Rylee. I do not want anything unpleasant will happen to you." His tone turned extremely sincere. 

" So what are we going to do now? I mean, if you want, to rest, since you are tired from work, you can now sleep in your bed while I will guard you. " He assumed she is working in an office based on her attire a while ago. She wore a long sleeve white polo with little rose flowers in it, matched with a beige knee-length skirt and still a beige colored hills displaying her smooth long legs. It looks so sexy adding her perfect size "24" inches waistline.

"If you do not have any plans sleeping I can always accompany you since you are my visitor. We can watched a movie or a K- Drama if you want."

Luke made no answer. He just grinned at her.

"What? Korean drama is a girl thing." She added seeing Lukes'  reaction of disagreement after she mentioned the K-drama thing.

"I have not watched any of  that K-drama if there is such a thing."

"We'll just have to try. My sister recommended me to watch first the movie, I Am Not a Robot. We have plenty of time till morning".

Lukes' POV

As easy as it is, Rylee told him her oldest sister. She is a public teacher, with three kids, how she graduated college with flying colors despite being financially challenged. She told him of her two other sisters, whom she also loved.

He can see how she loved and adored her sisters so much. He can sensed that love is inseparable from her and her family. 

Unlike him, he has an unapproachable older brother whom he cannot rely on with anything. His brother who sees him as a competitor not as a plain simple brother. Yes, he has a complete family but business matter is their top priority. And yes, his parents call him all the time but not to ask for his welfare but for the business.

"Are you okay?" He heard a voice of concern from Rylee. Maybe because he was silent for a while and had been showing sad emotions.
