Brawl Stars Short Stories

Author's Note #1

Heyo this is Smiley here. I am making this note to thank the amount of people who've read the stories up to this part. You've encouraged me to keep making stories which did make me happy so thx!

I also am writing this to share my feelings on these stories thus far and the future so here we go:

-First off, why did I start making them? For one, there hasn't been a lot of Brawl Stars stories popping up. There are some that do update from time to time, but not alot of them. There are those that are in Spanish, but I don't know the language so oof for me. Second, my imagination. In my head, many ideas always come up probably due to finishing my high-school exams for good. So one day one of those ideas was a Brawl Stars scenario. I might adapt that into a story soon so I won't go over but I will say THAT idea kickstarted this collection of short stories to be made. And third, I also start making these to let's say REVIVE the Brawl Stars media to be posted here. This was just a wish I had so it may not be an influence but who knows.

-Now onto the stories. The first two stories I had a lot of fun writing them. Especially that Nani and Sleeping Jessie fighting scene I was imagining that in my head. I originally was just gonna make these simple but being a crazy idea man, ideas overflow me to create something very ridiculous. Brawl Stars is already ridiculous so I went with there. Now the third story, I wanted to focus a bit on the environment. I didn't went too much in it but I wanted to emphasize the atmosphere of many locations of the Brawl Stars universe giving my own views on them. I did focus on the enviroment more in the fourth story and it turned out quite well in my eyes. It's amazing because you can envision them in your head while reading which was why I wanted to include those details whether it affects the plot or not.

-Now the fifth story, oooh boy did it went with a change. So I had the idea of Stu, Surge and Rico being in some robo-military with the Boss Fight robot as their commander. This wasn't finalized yet it was just an idea at the time. I didn't had a lot to go off with that so I altered that to exercise then somehow into competition. Also in the cafeteria scene, Stu setting it in fire was not really planned at all, I was gonna continue the competition, but due to my direction of where to next, I was like "Screw it, let's just burn the place down and have an epic fight!" I was in a very sticky situation by myself as I was the only person writing so you can imagine. Overall, I did find the final result okay, although I wished I've done more for that story. Who knows if I will update that story or rewrite entirely?

-Onto the characters. I tried sticking into their personalities that you imagine in game as best as I could but I did add some headcanons to spice it up. In the third story, I'd imagine Shelly as like god since y'know. So her fighting the gang members was fueling her bloodlust but Colt manages to calm her down to prevent let's just a massacre. I see Frank being more sensible than Mortis as he sees the situation more better than Mortis and he does remember that "Hat or No Hat" incident. These are just a few examples so you have an idea on how I imagine these characters to act out.

-Next, I want to do more 18+ stories. This will mostly be swearing and possibly adult implications. I even set that for my audience. So let's say when a story involving Jacky comes out, it will be very spicy.  ;)

-And finally, in these short stories, you may have noticed some short scenes with a possible tv head and a guy by the ocean in the 5th and 2nd story respectively. Let's say I have something in store to reference these events. Don't worry smiling ain't a problem. :)

-Now that that's down onto the future. I will be making more stories although who knows if it will go in the current rate or a different rate. While I did finish high-school for good, I still have my own life and going to university so I will see how I will sort out my schedule. I may make another author's note after publishing the next 5 stories. That's my set plan anyway. I'm also thinking of asking some artists to illustrate some of the noteworthy scenes of these stories to give the viewer an idea of how the scenario looks in one's eyes. And yeaa that's about all I have to say.
