Heyo everyone it's Smiley again with the 2nd author's note. It has been a while since I made another isn't it. Now before I get to share my thoughts, I noticed that my fanfic has gotten over 270 reads! This was a huge milestone for me as I can't even remember what were the reads from the 1st author note. I thank you all for taking the time to read through this series of short stories. Now with the thanks outta the way, onto my own thoughts.

-Now the first story "Castle Investigation" started off pretty rocky as I wanted to make a story revolving Season 8 and the new character Ash. It turned out pretty okay in the end. I thought it would turned out better but hey I had fun writing it so who cares.

-Now on to "Starry Sneaks". I never thought this one would be the most ambitious story yet. The plot was just gonna be straight to "Dumpster Diving to find brawler collectibles" but my mind went crazy developing an even bigger mindset on that story changing that simple idea into a complex but enjoyable idea. Like holy crap I had so much fun writing this idea writing over 3000 words in the process. This may be also the part where I started to write longer stories since it seemed like "Starry Sneaks" worked out well. So yea great story to write and enjoy!

-The third story in the lineup is "Colt's Bad Day." Originally, this wasn't supposed to be the third story as I had another story revolving around the Mining Trio with my vision of Jacky I hinted at in the previous author's note. Unfortunately while writing that story, the mindset I had for the story brought in many unnecessary ideas that messed with me. Like I unintentionally made Carl to be a bad character which wasn't suppose to happen so with nowhere to fix and go, I scrapped that story. With that story scrapped, I had to take a break to relax while thinking of more ideas for the next story. I didn't have much to work with after that scrapped story so yea I was in a sticky situation until I remember seeing a story request by Sammy_Scripts left in the comments suggesting an idea. At that point, I changed my idea setup. Before, I just relied on my mind to bring in ideas while writing but now that I have my very own hard-covered book, I can write out the main points of future stories giving me a great idea on how to combine these points into greater stories. Thus, "Colt's Bad Day" was born which I enjoyed writing.
Sorry if this part was longer than the previous points, I just had alot to say about the third story. Also thank you again to Sammy for this story idea which changed my writer setup for the better.

-Now onto the last two stories, "Old Recordings Discovered" and "Forgotten Tragedy". I'm putting these two in the same point as these stories focus on two original characters I have planned for the Brawl Stars Short Series story. The first character (TSCV) is actually the character briefly mentioned in the ending parts of  "Average Day of Spike" and "Robo Power". I wanted to introduce it with a unique format of the character talking via audio logs giving the readers their perspective. Although this charcter is technically two but in one body. The second character I codenamed "Brawl God" is another character I made as I was inspired with eldritch beings mixed in with Brawl Stars. This one was alot harder to make a backstory than the first but hey I wanted to fit him in one way or another. I will talk more about them in another point.

-After talking about the stories up to this point, time to bring up some smaller points. For some of you who aren't aware, I made an ideabook which is just me dumping my ideas relating to Brawl Stars Short Stories, doing a random idea scenario series on ideas that aren't canon to Short Stories or ideas that don't have much substance to add onto Short Stories and other ideas not related to Brawl Stars. You can expect these to appear in that book so take a read of it after reading through the author's note.

-Now back to the two original characters: TSCV and "Brawl God". As I mentioned in the previous points, these two were added in my intepretation of the Brawl Stars Universe. In my mind, I wanted to make my own trio to add in the series whether they have a big or small role to play in. I originally didn't plan to as I was thinking of ideas of existing Brawl Stars characters to write but after "Colt's Bad Day" I didn't have much or didn't got fully enjoyable ideas at the time so I wrote about these two characters. I'm questioning myself if they will play a big role in future stories or serve as minor cameos. Now that I'm writing this, I should probably put these characters in a separate book giving them more focus than here. So maybe those two stories were a waste? Maybe, maybe not but hey I can consider bringing those two and another in mind in their own separate story focusing on them some day.

-Now onto the future. I will still keeping writing stories like I usually do but this will be different. I will now be writing up main points for the next five stories beforehand instead of relying on my mind to bring something up while writing with an empty plan. That way I can spend more time carefully planning out events without stressing my mind out and not regretting on scrapping potentially exciting stories. So yea expect to not see much activity on this book for a while. I will however, focus on my ideabook as I will be posting frequently on there.

And that's all the points of this author's note for now. Again thank you all for sticking around up to this point and achieving this big milestone enjoying the stories that I like writing and wanting everyone to experience the passion like I did. Until these next five stories be posted, I will see you all again in the next author's note!

Cya! And smile with joy! :D
