• Deal with the Devil •

"My death was a ruse created by myself and the police department to throw off Jungkook." Namjoon explains everything that's happened, from Jungkook kidnapping him, to Dawon saving him from the fire, catching Yoongi up to date. 

"If Jungkook think's I'm dead, it's one less person he needs to deal with, but one person he wouldn't suspect to come back." Namjoon adds. 

"The son of a bitch nearly gave me a heart attack, I thought we'd lost him for sure." Kang says, keeping his eyes on the road as he drives them to Dawon's house. 

"Namjoon told us of his plans, said we had to keep it all secret from the public." Solar adds, sitting in the front seat with Kang. 

"And Dawon? How did she know you were in danger?" Yoongi asks, eyeing him in suspicion.

"Because she and I have been in contact since you left. She knew of the plan since the very beginning." Namjoon tells him. 

"Why didn't you tell me or Taehyung? Or more importantly, Jin?" Jimin speaks up. "You have no idea who much Taehyung and I suffered thinking you were dead! What if Jin already knows and is hurting over this!" 

Jimin's anger is valid, and Namjoon knew this was going to happen. "I couldn't tell either one of you without risk of Jungkook knowing." he says, but it doesn't help simmer Jimin's anger. "I'm sorry Jimin, really I am."

"I'll believe that apology when we get Taehyung and Jin back." Jimin sneers, then turns his attention out the window, not wanting to look at Namjoon anymore. 

"And Dawon never told me anything." Yoongi says, glaring at Namjoon. "But you knew about Hoseok."

Namjoon nods, giving Yoongi a glare as well. "I've always known his death was a lie made up by the both of you to protect Jung Hoseok."

"I don't understand why would you even protect him, he's a serial killer." Kang comments. Both him and Solar are the only once in the police that know about Hoseok, and both were not pleased with the news. 

"So the killings of all the murderers in Japan...that was you two?" Solar asks. She's been keeping an eye on the news in Japan when word got out that someone was killing all the seral killers and murderers in Japan. 

"You all wouldn't understand him unless you think like him." Yoongi defends. Hoseok has been through a trauma which changed him. Yoongi knows how that feels, his life was nothing but trauma. "Which is why you had Dawon trick me to come back." he says, looking back to Namjoon again. 

"Hoseok was the one who influenced him into killing. We need him to stop Jeon Jungkook."

Jimin slowly turns his head over Namjoon, slowly blinking in shock. "Are we really going to rely on Jung Hoseok, the most fucked up human being to ever grace this earth-" He ignores Yoongi's glare and continues. "-to help us stop Jungkook? The guy he taught how to kill!!"

"Yes, we are." Namjoon dead pans. Jimin just about opens the door to throw himself out the car, but Yoongi grabs his arm, softening his gaze. 

"I don't forgive him for hurting you Jimin, but just this once, trust him. Hoseok knows how to deal with Jungkook better than any of us. Plus he won't bother you, not as long as I'm around." 

Once upon a time, Jimin would have been head over heels with Yoongi's words, but his heart remains loyal to Taehyung, and Yoongi's words were nothing but empty promises to him. 

"I can't put my trust in someone who tortured me and tired to kill me." Jimin explains. "I don't even trust that he'll get the job done. Like, what if he ends just siding with Jungkook?"
