Fracture S3 [Taekook]

"Where is Taehyung!! Where is my brother?!"

"Namjoon, Taehyung stood behind with Jungkook!"

"The fire is out of control, there is no way of re entering."

"But my brother!"

"It's too late!"

"Wait! The police said they found someone."

"Is it him? Is it my brother?"

"Taehyung! Taehyung!"

The cackling of the flames drifted away into silence, leaving Taehyung to weave between the thin blanket unconsciousness. 

It felt like eternity being in that silence,  but eventually the soft sound of a heartbeat, followed by Jin and Jimin's voices, brought him back. 

Jimin and Jin watched in silence, every so often one or the other would let out a soft sob or a sigh, remorsefully watching Taehyung from the other side of the glass. 

Both hold each other for emotional support, their grudges long forgotten. Both have come to the conclusion that they need each other in order to move on to the next step, which is to take care of Taehyung, who is going to need a lot of emotional support, and a lot of therapy after all the suffering he went through. 

Taehyung had almost died. 

No, in fact he did die. 

Twice. 

He had lost alot of blood, so much that his heart lost the will to keep on beating. 

The doctors almost gave up, but by some small miracle, his heart gave life again, and they were able to save him. 

After getting a blood transfusion, they put him up in the ICU, hooked him up to all sorts of machines. They wrapped his slit wrist and have him on suicide watch once he wakes up. 

Yeah, he's going to need alot of therapy. 

"How is he doing?" Kang asks Namjoon, both standing in the back, giving Jimin and Jin space to watch Taehyung. 

"Still the same." Namjoon says, his frown proving his point. "Any word on Jungkook?"

"No. We haven't found a body either, but I have eyes all over the city looking for him. It's only a matter of time before he shows up again."

Namjoon isn't sure about that. The reason being is because Yoongi is missing too, and Namjoon knows Yoongi very, very well. He had a gut wrenching feeling Yoongi is with Jungkook, and if that's the case, then there is a slim chance they will find Jungkook alive. 

"What about Jung Hoseok? What's the status on him." Namjoon asks. He was surprised to find out they arrested Hoseok, even more that he had to go into surgery to remove the bullet lodged in his thigh bone. He got lucky they didn't amputate it, but it still baffling. 

The fact that Yoongi even shot Hoseok, proves further more that Jungkook and Hoseok aren't the ones everyone should be afraid of. 

It's Min Yoongi. 

"The fucker is knocked out on morphine. Wouldn't stop moaning from the pain."

Namjoon rolls his eyes. Of course Hoseok would get turned on by his own pain. "What are you gonna do with him?"

Kang raises a brow. "It's obvious we are gonna arrest him. We have video proof that he killed someone and possibly was working with Jungkook this whole time."

Even that stumped Namjoon. Hoseok is usually the elusive type of killer. The one that kills, but leaves no traces of himself behind. He figured Hoseok couldn't resist the temptation. Namjoon remembers Yoongi was like that once, it was his downfall, much like Hoseok's. 

Yoongi had to have been extremely pissed off to shoot his own boyfriend. Or ex-boyfriend. Honestly, Namjoon has no clue what type of relationship they have. It's just toxic. 

"I gotta head back to the station. Got loads of paperwork and a shit ton or news reports up my ass." He pats Namjoon's shoulder, giving him a tired smile. "Take care of yourself Namjoon."

"I will." Namjoon replies with his own smile, then returns his attention to Jin and Jimin, both still holding each other as they watch the waves of Taehyung's heartbeat dance across the monitor screen. 

Ding!

Namjoon feels his pocket vibrate. 

He takes out his phone and sees he got a picture message sent by Yoongi. 

He looks up at Jin and Jimin, then his surroundings, before excusing himself into an empty hallway. 

Anxiety is at it's peak, and Namjoon was about to push it over the edge as he opens the message, and nearly drops the phone at what he sees. 

It's a picture of Jungkook. Naked and tied to a metal chair. 

The caption below it is what nearly makes Namjoon's heart stop. 

In 24 hours, I'll send you the location to pick up the body.
