"Do I really have to touch it?"

"Yes."

"But...it's so sticky...and it smells."

"You'll get used to it."

Taehyung highly doubts he'll get used to the sight of blood, but reluctantly he holds his hand out, letting Jungkook grab his wrist and pull him closer to the dead body in front of them, a young man Jungkook had lured into his home before killing him.

The man was a junkie who crossed paths with Jungkook, looking for a score on drugs and quick buck for sex.

Jungkook happily brought him back home under the notion that he was going to get such pleasantries, only to be met with a knife into his gut and his throat slit.

This time he only made Taehyung watch, which Taehyung obviously hated, but he had to keep up with the façade, remembering what Hoseok had told him a few days ago.

Jungkook has noticed that Taehyung is less resistant but hasn't question the brunette about it. Taehyung is unsure if this plan is working, but Jungkook seems pleased for the moment so he thinks it is.

"Feels good, right?" Jungkook asks and he places Taehyung hand along the dead man's neck, making him scoop up a glob of blood.

Taehyung feels downright sick to his stomach, but he holds it all in with a straight face, even going as far as pushing the boundaries and taping into his acting skills, just like Hoseok told him too.

He massages the blood between his fingers, playing on a smirk as he tilts his head a degree, feigning curiosity.

"When you get past the smell and the weird texture, it's actually therapeutic."

Taehyung wants to rolls his eye with disgust, but he refrains from doing so.

"Okay baby, you can wash your hands and wait for me in the bedroom while I'll get rid of the body and go give Jin hyung food."

Taehyung wants to ask about Jin, but he stops himself. He knows Jungkook is using Jin as bait to further antagonize him. So Taehyung decided to show little interest in Jin, keeping all his attention on Jungkook, and it's been working. He hasn't asked for Jin and even stopped complaining about him too.

Taehyung feels horrible, but this was the only way he can fully gain Jungkook's trust in him, and it's working.

With a curt nod, Taehyung washes the blood off his hand and goes to the bedroom to wait for Jungkook.

"By the way, did Hoseok hyung say where he went?" Jungkook asks as he lays out a large plastic sheet he takes out from under the sink.

After Hoseok left, Jungkook was asking about him constantly. Taehyung was the last to see him, but even he has no clue where the other psycho went, and he really doesn't want to know.

Taehyung shakes his head, watching as Jungkook lays the dead man's body onto the plastic sheet, his head spinning as the dead man's eyes fall upon him. "No." he finally answers, tearing his eyes away from the dead body.

"Such a shame." Jungkook huffs, crossing the dead mans arms and pulling the corners of the plastic sheet into a knot. "I wanted him to be here for this, but I can't stop him from doing his own thing." he takes small edges of the sheet and ties them into knots, fully encasing the corpse inside the plastic sheet.

"Baby, let me help you with that." Taehyung feels his gut twist at his own words, but he reminds himself that this is all for the sake of making Jungkook believe he's gone past that line of insanity.
