Chapter 13: Mate

When Midnight entered the building, she walked to the stairwell to reach the vents and head to the office. Midnight gets to the 2nd floor, stops, and looks down when seeing Knockout walking with the rest of the vehicats with their injuries. Midnight sighs and then sees Megatron entering the building. Midnight growls because she wants to be left alone. Megatron looks around, looks upon the 2nd floor, and sees Midnight watching him from above. Megatron raises his eyebrow and wonders what Midnight is doing right now. Midnight sighed, and she turned around and went inside the vent. She crawls through the vents, stops, and looks down at the office. Midnight growls and stops and shakes her head and goes straight instead. Midnight makes it to her secret room and goes over to her bed. Midnight walks over to her bed and lays down. Midnight has her backed turn from the entrance where she entered.

Megatron walks to the main room where he sleeps and goes to the vents. Starscream watches and rolls his eyes and goes over to Shockwave and Soundwave, talking with each other. Megatron walks inside the vent and enters Midnight's room. Megatron looks around and wonders where she is right now. Midnight wrapped her tail around her body and heard Megatron's wandering thoughts, and she flinched when she heard him. Megatron looks around and then looks over at her bed which is closed for some reason. Megatron opens it up and sees Midnight lying on her bed. Megatron sighs and walks inside. Megatron looks down at her, and Midnight closes her eyes. Megatron crawls into bed with her and lays down beside her. Midnight opens her eyes and looks at Megatron, who is looking down at her.

"Smart to change the situation with the humans escaping the laboratory. I walked over to Shockwave, and he told me half of the laboratory's humans were dead. Some are injured, and some survive. I am impressed, Midnight," assured Megatron.

Midnight closes her eyes, and Megatron sighs.

"Soundwave and you saved me from Prime. I almost died in that battle if you did not come and help," said Megatron, and he lowered his head down and looked at Midnight in the eyes.

Midnight opened her eyes, and they both stared at each other. Megatron sighed and licked her on the head, which made Midnight flinch. I thought he would be mad at me, thought Midnight, and she sighed and moved her body to lay beside Megatron. Megatron lifted his head and saw Midnight cuddling up next to him. Megatron sighs and Midnight rubs her head underneath Megatron's neck. Megatron wraps his tail around Midnight's body and then licks her on the head. Midnight had her ears down when she was done rubbing her head underneath Megatron's neck. Midnight purrs when Megatron licks her head. Then Midnight laid her head down and closed her eyes. Megatron has stopped licking her head and sighs when laying her head down. Megatron sighs and looks outside from Midnight's bed and grumbles a little. He slowly gets up and away from Midnight, walks out of Midnight's bed, and looks over at the big vent. Megatron sighs, pads his way over to the vent, and he enters the duct.

Megatron walks out of the vent and looks around, seeing that everyone is inside doing things he told them to do. Megatron looks up and sees that the sun is going out. Megatron commands everyone to turn themselves in. Megatron watches them all turn themselves in to get some rest, and then Megatron walks over to Soundwave and speaks with him for a couple of minutes. Megatron has finished talking with Soundwave, and he walks away from Soundwave and looks over at Starscream, who has laid down and going to sleep. Megatron then looks over at Knockout and Breakdown, who sleep with each other. Megatron looks at the big vent and wonders if it is okay for him to tell Midnight how he feels toward her. Megatron sighs and walks inside the vent. Megatron enters Midnight's room walks over to Midnight's bed, and looks down at her. Megatron sighs and lays down next to her, lowering his head and closing his eyes.

Later in the morning, Midnight wakes up first, yawns, and looks around. Midnight sighs and looks at Megatron, who is right next to her. Midnight smiles and moans and licks his head. Midnight walks out of her bed and stretches herself out. Midnight sighs, and she walks up to the vent leading her to the roof. Midnight reaches the end of the duct, opens the door, and is on the warehouse's roof. Midnight sighs and walks over to her bucket of water that she had earlier. Midnight started to drink some water, and she stopped drinking water. She looks at the entrance of the vents where she has entered to get to the roof. Midnight sighs, sits up, and goes over to the vents. Midnight enters inside, and she climbs down into her private area. Midnight sighs and sits in the middle of her private room. She starts to lick herself, and she stops and flicks her ears.
