Midnight wakes up with a start and feels someone lying right next to her. I swear to god if it is Starscream. I am going to kill him, growled Midnight, and she looked at her side and growled when she saw Starscream right next to her. Midnight stops snarling and sighs, and moves slowly away from him. Midnight gets out of bed and wonders where she is now. Don't tell me this is a dream, thought Midnight, trying to figure it out. Midnight rolls her eyes and waits for him to wake up. Midnight hears voices and Midnight looks around, trying to figure it out.

Midnight woke up with a start and tried to get that nightmare out of her head. That was scary, thought Midnight, and her eyes went back to normal, and she took a couple of deep breaths. I need to find Megatron before Starscream gets all lovey-dovey at me. Midnight sighs and wonders what time it is right now. I should open my shadow portal and spawn in a forest or small hole. Midnight grumbles and opens the shadow portal. Then she hears her name being called out. Midnight rolls her eyes and wonders who is calling her. I hope it is not Starscream, grumbled Midnight in annoyance. Midnight sighs, and she goes into the vents and sees Shockwave and Soundwave speaking with each other. Midnight crawls out of the vents on the second floor of the main room. Midnight goes on the railing and wonders who is calling her. Then she hears a wondering thought from Starscream. Starscream wonders where Midnight is and what she is doing in the vents. Midnight rolls her eyes and growls a little. She spots Starscream looking around, and Midnight rolls her eyes again. I should probably head out and try to find Megatron, thought Midnight. But I must not get caught by Starscream or anyone else. Midnight sighed and wondered which direction she was supposed to go if she was going to find Megatron. I might have to ask Knockout and Breakdown and figure out which direction they went off when they went on the mission. Midnight grumbled, and she sighed and went back into the vents.
She crawls through and reaches Shockwave's laboratory. Midnight gets out of the vents and climbs down from the cabinets. Then she walks over to the door and looks around the hallway. Midnight sighs and goes to the right and into Knockout and Breakdown's room. Midnight sees Knockout and Breakdown talking with each other. Midnight grumbles and then sighs and walks over to Knockout and Breakdown. Knockout and Breakdown stopped talking, and they looked over at the entrance of their room. They spotted Midnight coming into their room and walking over to them.
"Hi, Midnight," replied Knockout, asking, "What do you need?"
"I was going to ask you two a question, and it is a huge curiosity," answered Midnight.
"What is your question," replied Breakdown with a questioning look.
"Well do you guys know which direction Megatron and Starscream went off to when they were both about to go on the mission a week ago?" asked Midnight.
"I do not," answered Breakdown, looking at Knockout.
Knockout sighs and then replies, "They started going westward. Why do you ask."
"Well, I was thinking of figuring out how Megatron went missing," said Midnight.
"Everyone has been wondering about that," pointed out Breakdown, and he looked at Midnight.
"So you are thinking of going in that direction and figuring out where Megatron is and what happened to him," meowed Knockout, and Midnight nodded. "Well, then, since you are mates with him. I think it will be best to tell Soundwave. He might help you with the direction of where Starscream and Megatron went during that mission. Soundwave did care about Megatron and is always helping Lord Megatron in any way possible."
Midnight nods, and she walks out of the room. Knockout and Breakdown watch her leave, and then Breakdown looks at Knockout and cannot believe that Megatron is mated to Midnight. Knockout explains to Breakdown how long they both have been coupled. Midnight walks out of the hallway, remembers where Soundwave is, and wonders if she should ask him where both Megatron and Starscream went in the direction of the mission they did together. Midnight sighs and walks down the hallway. Midnight comes to a halt and scans the main room for Shockwave and Soundwave. Midnight raises her eyebrow and wonders where Soundwave and Shockwave are right now. I am going to guess that they are in the laboratory, thought Midnight, and she sighed and turned around, and walked over to the laboratory door. Midnight walks into the door, and she looks around. Then Midnight spots Shockwave working on the computer, and then she raises her eyebrow and shakes her head. Midnight felt someone watching her, and she looked around the room again and then spotted Soundwave looking down at her. Midnight sighs and walks over to Soundwave. Soundwave wonders what Midnight wants and then remembers from what he heard from Knockout that Midnight is mated to his master. Soundwave sighs, and he gets off of the table.
"Yes, Midnight, what do you need," asked Soundwave in wonder.
"I was wondering if you know what direction Megatron and Starscream went recently during a mission a week ago."
"They both went westward," replied Soundwave.
"Well, that is all I need," said Midnight, and she turned around and walked away from Soundwave.
Soundwave watches her, shakes his head, and wonders what she is doing now and where she is going. Midnight walked down the hallway after she exited the laboratory. Midnight sighs and goes left to head into the main room. Midnight continued to walk and flinched when sensing someone watching her. Midnight rolls her eyes, continues walking, and exits the warehouse entrance. Midnight grumbles and then runs to the door of the Decepticon gate entrance. Midnight crawls through the hole and starts to head westward, hoping she can find Megatron and bring him home. Midnight goes through the trees and bushes and continues to go westward. I should have asked for help on seeing him, thought Midnight, and she growls a little and then stops. Midnight sighs and continues going westward. Then she crosses a road by looking both ways and then uses a ghostly dash to get to the other side. Midnight looked behind her, and she sighed when she remembered the direction she went to. Midnight rolls her eyes, looks away from the path that she came from, and continues going westward. She walked through alleyways and crossed roads. Midnight has traveled about 40 miles and slept at certain times of the day. Midnight slept in boxes and pipes to pass the time. Midnight leaves markings to make sure that she can head back home.
Then Midnight stops when seeing smoke nearby. Midnight by going up a hill, looking around, and seeing a building on fire. Midnight cocks her head and wonders what is going on. Then she notices that the fire has not gone out for the past few days. Midnight sighs and goes down slowly, and she looks around. I wonder what happened here, thought Midnight, and she remembered hearing stories from the Vehicats that they heard from Starscream. Is that Starscream and Megatron's mission was to attack one building and get locations and supplies, thought Midnight when remembering the story. This must be the building that Soundwave and Shockwave were talking about. Midnight continued to look around and stopped when she saw something interesting. Midnight runs over and looks at the ground and sees dragged marks.
Midnight raises her eyebrow and starts to follow the marks. She then stops when she sees a body close by. Midnight puts her ears down and starts to move forward. The smoke cleared out, and Midnight saw Megatron's body. Midnight's eyes went wide, and she came closer. She looks at his body and sees scratch marks and scars. Midnight looks at his head and wonders if he is awake. Midnight sighs, lies beside his body, licks his head, and wonders if he will wake up. Midnight lays her head down, and tears come down her face. Please get up, pleaded Midnight, and she closed her eyes and wondered if he was alive. I traveled so far to find you. Please wake up and see your mate. Midnight looks outside, and she sighs and wonders if she should move his body. I am not strong enough to carry him. I might use my shadow portals and force him to a different location. But I have to check where the site is and ensure that it is not dangerous, grumbled Midnight, and groaned when trying to make a good action plan. I will wait here, and I will teleport to a new location if I hear anyone. Midnight closes her eyes and tries to go to sleep.
