Chapter 25: Secret Room

So Midnight walked up to the second floor, did the ghostly dash, went to the other side, and spotted something off the wall next to the vent. Midnight looks below and sees Megatron and Soundwave talking with each other. Midnight shakes her head and looks at the weird wall. Midnight sees it is dark in that area, and Midnight raises her eyebrow and goes to the wall then, she opens the shadow portal and wonders what is on the other side. Midnight walks through, stops, and looks around. The room is very large, and she looks around, and her eyes go wide. There are no windows, and she sees it dark in the room. I guess I could put a light in here, thought Midnight and sighed. Unless I could put fireflies in here, it is winter, so that is not an option. I could ask Shockwave to see if he has anything interesting for my area. I will say my room and lie to him, but he might figure it out. Midnight grumbles, and she looks around the room again.

She sees outlets in the room, smiles when she sees them, wonders if she finds something in the office closet, and sees if there are any lamps, lights, or nightlights for the room. Midnight goes through the shadow portal again and gets into her main room. She looks around and smiles even more and then remembers that there is another basket in the office closet. Since the office closet is very large and could have many items. Guess I can go to the office and grab some supplies, thought Midnight and sighed and stopped smiling. Midnight opens the shadow portal and walks through. Midnight sees that she is in her room where she sleeps. Midnight grumbles and then hears something in the big vents. Midnight flinches when hearing it, and she wonders who is coming into the vents. Megatron comes out of the big vent, looks around, and wonders where Midnight went. 

"Midnight, are you here," called out Megatron and looked around. 

Midnight flinched, sighed, and sat down and looked at him from the distance.

"I am over here," replied Midnight.

Megatron looks over at Midnight and grumbles, then walks over to her.

"I was done talking with Soundwave, and you left without a trace," pointed out Megatron, and he did a low growl.

Midnight flinches from the low growl and sighs.

"Sorry, I was heading over to my room," meowed Midnight, and Megatron stopped growling and sighed.

"Next time, please tell me where you are going," replied Megatron, and Midnight looked up at him and nodded her head.

Megatron sighs and sits down beside her. Midnight looks to her left and sees him sitting next to her. Megatron curls his tail around her and makes Midnight flinch. Megatron grumbles and wonders why she has flinched, and he sighs.

"Stop flinching," ordered Megatron with a low growl.

Midnight grumbled a little and looked away from him and wondered how long is he going to annoy her. Megatron growls down at her and wonders why she is looking away from him. Midnight flinches again, and Megatron stops growling and grumbles a little. He also looks away from Midnight, and Midnight sighs and wonders what they both should do now since no one will bother them. You know we should spend some time together. I will decorate my new secret room later, thought Midnight. She looked over at Megatron, and his ears were down. Midnight flicked her ears and wondered what she should do. I am going to kiss him to see what his reaction is. Midnight grumbles a little and kisses him on the cheek, which makes Megatron flinch and his ears go back up, and he blushes a little. Megatron looked at her and smiled, and she smiled back. Megatron and Midnight both started to spend some time with each other. After they were both done, it took them 4 hours to spend with each other. 

"Bring your bucket down since the small pool of water is frozen," pointed out Megatron and Midnight was lying beside him and nodding her head. 

Midnight sighs go up to the top and find the ice-filled bucket. I should return the bucket inside to see if we melt it. But the problem is having an infinite water source, thought Midnight, and she grumbles and starts to take it down below. Megatron waits for her in Midnight's room, and he looks across the room and sees Midnight pushing the bucket.
