Amrita

His eyes focused ahead of him as our hands swing together. My eyes trying to greedily take in his features before we part. My heart already feeling heavy.

We laughed and flirted. He was playful yet his mind was still and controlled. A mind like that always had tsunamis, like water. Yes, his mind is like water. Still but a tiny ripple could cause a wave. I hope he knows I had a good time.

I could see my damp porch slowly coming into vision. I gripped his hand a little tighter. "I had a good time... I hope you know I don't need anything big, just meaningful." I mumbled a little, kicking a rock away from me as it laughed at the color on my cheeks.

He looked down at me and smiled moving his arm around my shoulder. " I hope you know I'll only show you meaningful things from now on." The warmth from his hugs made it hard to not cuddle with him.

As I stepped onto my porch I turned around lacing our hands again. "Are you gonna kiss me and dance in the rain singing a love song?" He laughed and grabbed his stomach, my heart melted at the sight. My smile was bigger than ever. He looked around the sidewalk pretending to think about it.  "I would if you'd ask for a kiss." He smirked down at me.

" I asked yesterday" I crossed my arms, he wrapped his arms around my waist. And slightly touched his forehead with mine. "Today's a new day." I put my hand on his chest the other on his shoulder. "Will you kiss me?" I smiled into his.

He slowly brushed our lips together. The warmth and energy had me wanting more. He pulled me closer and finally kissed me. Our lips moved slowly with excitement for each other. My hand made its way to the side of his neck under his jaw.

We pulled apart, silently wanting more. We pushed our foreheads together taking in a deep breath. He smiled, " good night... Amrita." My smile met his again this time for regards. "Good night Aramis."

He backed up into the street and put his hand on his heart, "You belong to me, I belong to you" he sang and pointed at me.
I laughed and leaned over, "That's a good song. But I have to give it a c-" he gasped offended at my grade for him.
"There's no rain sweetheart. You can't sing a love song in a street without rain."
His eyebrows went up and nodded his head, his shoulders touching his ears, "sorry my camera crew forgot the hose. I'll make sure they bring it next time, love."

His figure darkened then disappeared. But my smile didn't. I hope his didn't either. I walked into my house and slumped against my door. My head feeling fuzzy and my heart slowly pounding. I'm drunk on the idea of him. Smiling I walked into my grandma's room tucking her in again.

My back hit the bed and I turned on my side. My eyes slowly lowering, remembering the feeling of his hair and his lips. The sound of his laugh and his stupidly funny jokes. His smile and warmth.

Unknowingly I fell asleep with a smile.

My heart to drunk off him to take anymore.
