Cool air hitting my bareback with light whispers of kisses. Lovely birds cawing, thanking the sun for another day. Cool grey clouds fill in the sky, like paint on an empty canvas.
Laying on his back, the sunrise bounces on his brown skin. His hair was messy falling over his sharp eyebrows. Gentle eyelashes at the tips of his eyelids.
My fingertips lining the shape of his cheekbone. Rubbing his cheek lightly back and forth.
His eyes flutter and open softly. A lazy smile claims his face.
"I missed you."
A raspy low voice fills the glowing room. My happiness overfilling my insides making me smile.
"I was here the whole night."
My grin was large as he pulled me closer to himself. His forehead touching mine, warmth emitting from him. Making me melt.
"I know."
Rubbing my back I fell asleep next to my soulmate. Not happy, but loved.
Overpowering everything.
Only to be awakened by the smell of Bacon and Pancakes.
