Chapter 26: Oh Shit

The text that I received from Joanna took me out of my nap. I'm now panicking inside because I don't know how to respond to her. Stijn came out of the bathroom gloriously naked and called me after preparing our warm bath.

"Hey, the bath is ready." He saw me looking the way that I look right now and said "Why do you look like you just saw a ghost? Did I fuck you too much that your soul separated from your body?" he teased.

"Haha funny. So get this, Joanna just texted me and she said she wants to come over tomorrow because she saw me come here and I mean this place is just beautiful so of course, she wanna come here, and... what fuck am I gonna say to her? Should I say no? But what if she becomes suspicious because I've been turning them down left and right but should I say yes? If I say yes..."

He cut me off and said "okay okay calm down. We will solve this but before that can we take a warm bath first...and then we can talk after you clear your mind."

"Why are you so calm? I'm panicking here." I complained.

"We just had the best sex so you can't fault me for feeling good. I might feel this way for weeks so..."

Okay, that's a good argument and I'm not gonna fight him on this one.

"You always know what to say huh. But as your thank, you to me, help me come up with a solution ok?"

"Everything for you babe." Then he carried me to the bathroom and we just laid there and relaxed. A warm bath after rigorous sex is always the best and you can't convince me otherwise.

I just leaned in on his hard chest and we laid there for a while relishing each moment with each other. This is truly one of the best nights I've had in my life because you are with someone you love. Except for that text though. That is still bothering me so I opened it up to Stijn but he just shut me up.

"Nope. Nope. We will talk about that later. For now, let me enjoy this moment with you okay babe?"

After that really refreshing bath, I almost forgot for a while that I had a problem. That goes to show how a good bath can make you feel better but once we went back to the bed, I was reminded of the shit that I have to fix.

"Okay, so what are you proposing to fix this problem?"

"Easy...just tell her no."

"That won't do. I've already said no to them a couple of times and they would be more suspicious if I come up with some excuse to avoid seeing them."

"Yeah, but it would be a bigger problem if they see us together here. How are you supposed to explain that?"

"That is my problem and here I thought you can contribute something."

"Well I did and you said no...sooooo." He's pushing my buttons and he should know better not to piss me off.

"Well, your suggestion sucks. What we can do is for you to leave tomorrow and go somewhere else."

"And where am I supposed to go? Plus, no offense babe but don't you think Joanna is already suspicious you are able to rent this place? I mean this is above your paygrade. Again no offense meant."

"Wow, gee thanks. Way to rub it in." I paused and realized that he does make a good point. "Yeah, you're right. Fuck."

"What if you just tell them that I helped you rent this place because you are a good employee and I just wanted to help."

"Oh, and I could also tell them that we are fucking and you're doing all this for me. How about that?"

"Jeez calm down. I'll zip my mouth shut and you can solve it on your own." He laid down on the bed and turned his back on me.
