Let me just leave, perhaps I won't hurt you then.

"Denial is the first stage of affection," Luna tells me at breakfast.
"What?" I ask.
"You should know what," she tells me. "Look, I don't really ship, but I have read and written enough fanfiction to know that you two are meant to be."
"Two? Who?" I ask, although I know exactly what she's talking about.
"Oh, don't play dumb! Libelle, you can't just do that to me, you know that right?" Luna tells me and suddenly I see past her blonde hair and blue eyes.
"Madeline?" I ask her. Madeline is a friend of mine, the only one I have (as you know, I don't mix with people that much). She met me when we were eight and I was new to the neighborhood and kind of took me under her wing. Like a guardian angel who was constantly rolling her eyes at you but still protected you. But Luna can't be Madeline, can she?
"Yes, darling," she tells me. "You little idiot."
"So . . . you're Luna?" I asked her, still confused.
"Yes and I have never met someone who is more of a dumbass than you are," she tells me.
I stare at her, wondering how someone could be two polar opposite characters at the same time. One moment she's shy and nice Luna, and the next moment she's her extroverted, rough self. Really, I had a hard time understanding her.
To clear the confusion, I look over to Draco. He isn't really doing anything and is just staring into space, probably thinking. He sees me staring, no, looking over and smiles. Why is he being so nice?
He gets up and walks over to me, "Class, Aria."
Did he just call me Aria?
I stare at him, "Did you just call me Aria?"
"Would you prefer 'love'?" he asks.
"I would prefer Stunnings," I tell him, and it is true, I would. I do not like being called Aria.
"I think 'Aria' is the happy medium then," he shrugs.
"I don't-"
He grabs my arm and pulls me over, the cold metal of his rings pressing into my warm skin, not giving me a chance to complete.
Draco gives me a charming smile.
I give Luna, or rather, Madeline a helpless look. She winks at me and I curse her under my breath.
"Class," he tells me once again.

"I have no doubt that you were on your deathbed, Mr Malfoy. I would still like to have your Transfiguration home-work on my desk. However, it is not there. Therefore, detention is what you will get, and as for me? I will get that home-work tomorrow. You may sit down now," McGonagall stared Draco down.
He muttered, "To hell with detention."
I let out a chuckle, "To hell with you rather."
"Very funny," he tells me, rolling his eyes but I can hear the smile in his voice.
"Is there something you would like to share with the class, Ms Stunnings?" McGonagall's voice asked me.
"No, thank you," I tell her.
I spend the rest of the period taking notes about how to shapeshift into a snail, as if when I go out into the real world, they'll ask me to become a snail.
Outside, Madeline joins up with me as we walk down the halls and informs me, "McGonagall has an announcement!"
"What?"
"At least, that's what she said," Madeline frowns, pointing at Pansy Parkinson: a Slytherin. "She's hot, isn't she?"
"Er- Yes . . . ?" I venture, not really knowing what to say. Pansy Parkinson with her black hair and black eyes, looked rather ordinary to me.
"Hmm," Madeline says, her eyes still on Pansy's tall, thin figure. "Hmm," she specifies.
I pull my hood closer and smile at Madeline's eyes feasting upon Pansy's body. I walk towards Pansy.
"Hey, Parkinson?" I ask. I'm not one to pick a conversation with someone new, but anything for Madeline.
"Stunnings, isn't it?" she replies and I nod.
"So, a friend of mine is kind of . . . wondering about your sexuality. If it isn't too private a ques-" I start, but Pansy is already looking over my shoulder.
"Bi," she tells me, and I smile.
"Did you know that she's a bi?" I ask Madeline and she looks like the sky at sunset.
"I don't like her!"
"You have to ask her out!"
"NO!" she protests.
"I dare you," I state.
"And I dare you to ask Malfoy out," she tells me.
"Deal."
"Fine then," she says.
I'm already having second thoughts about this 'deal' of mine.
What did I just agree to? I cannot ruin that boy's life for a stupid dare, can I?
