The 'Queen'

"Sweetie are you high"Jada asked upon seeing me get out the car. Maxwell cut his eyes at me and walked in the house with Faye.

"Wow Selena she looks just like you."The girls were coddling Faye. They just couldn't get enough of her wits.

"William just left. No answers or questions."Tammy grumbled, she was a little upset that he just dropped Faye on me and left.

"Tams it's fine, I have a new responsibility on top of being a wife."I mumbled.

"How did he take it?"Jada asked rubbing my arm.

"Honestly girls..I don't know, he's been really silent."I choked back a sob.

"Do you want me to talk to him?"Rockie growled, tapping her thigh.

"Rockie, I'll get it out of him so far he's hurt cause that was supposed to be our child."I frowned, Faye came and sat in my lap.

"Your okay sweetie."

The door opened and closed, Maxwell looked at us and smiled.

"Ladies."He waved.

"Max, talk to your wife now."Tammy hissed.

"We have Faye, it's not like we're going to kidnap her."Jada said smiling.

"Do that Jay and I'll kill you."I murmured, standing up. I felt like I was being put in the hot seat. I walked into his office and sat on the floor avoiding his eye contact.

"Selena, I've already told you how I felt about Faye."He started.

"This is not about Faye, Faye has nothing to do with this, your upset because she isn't your child. It's the William of it all."I snapped back.

"YES, I'M MAD SELENA, TRY PISSED. THE FACT THAT I HAVE LOVED YOU FOR SO LONG AND OUR CHILD DIED IN YOUR STOMACH, IT'S SAD, IT IS DISHEARTENING TO SEE ANOTHER MAN ALREADY HAD YOU AND SUCCEEDED."He screamed at me and suddenly I was thankful for the soundproof walls his office had.

"That was all I needed to hear, I'm more than satisfied with your answer Maxwell."I forced a smile on my face and took a deep breathe sucking the tears back in. That didn't stop him from letting a few tears slip.

"I said I'm sorry."I mumbled.

"Sorry doesn't help the fact that I'm not the father of that child out there."He said.

"MAXWELL, FAYE WAS HERE BEFORE I EVEN STARTED THINGS WITH YOU, SO YOUR JEALOUSY FACTOR IS REALLY PISSING ME OFF WHAT I DID BEFORE YOU, SHOULD NOT CONCERN YOU, SO WHAT I HAD A CHILD, THAT DOESNT CHANGE ANYTHING."I growled

"God, I know I should've told you about her Maxwell but you have to understand I didn't think I would see her ever again. My mother got rid of her before I could even consider her a problem. When William popped up with her I was shocked and hurt as well, my mother knew she was alive and I didn't have a say in what happened to her."I whispered.

I frowned and wiped the tear forming in my eye.

"You can be mad at me but leave Faye completely out of this."I said, opening the door. Maxwell closed it back locking me in.

"I'm sorry, your right...It just hurts somewhat a great deal"He frowned, I looked into his eyes and pouted.

"We still have to talk about you getting stoned. After the make up sex"He murmured winking at me. I fell out the door before he could kiss me, smiling widely. Faye was on my leg within seconds.

"Momma I missed you."She giggled. I rubbed her head and smiled.

"Momma missed you too darling."A smile crept up on my face.

"How'd it go"Rockie asked.

"Let's just say things are going to get heated later on."I smiled and ate a pizza roll.

"Ewww."

"Yuck"

"Come on, we're all married and we all have duties to uphold."I mumbled.

"Yeah yeah"Jada whined

"It just sounds so gross coming from your mouth"Jada giggled.

"I will see you guys with your husbands in two weeks."I waved at them as they huddled in one car and drove off.

"Faye it's time for bed sweetie"I rubbed her head and smiled. She yawned and tiredly wrapped her arms around my neck.

I lifted her up and carried her to her bedroom. I tucked her in and sat with her for awhile. I looked over at her suitcase, I opened it. William basically summed up the life she lived in pictures and postcards. I was really glad he just left cause now she won't have to deal with her past or her unstable life.

"Maxwell, She never had a stable life with William they were always moving."I frowned, tracing circles on his naked chest.

"Faye doesn't need to worry about that now, her life will be as stable as stable can get. Now that she's with us."He murmured. I sat up and straddled him lightly, he groaned in response.

"Now onto why you where stoned, you cannot get back into your old habits, you've come to far."Maxwell rubbed my cheek.

"You can take all my pot and smokes and put them in your safe. I don't want to go backwards."I sank back down beside him.

"Your the queen and whatever you say goes."Maxwell said slightly.
