Breaking The Silence.

Isolation

I sat there happier than I had ever been before. I was in the hospital but I was still happy. In my case the truth really set me free.

"Mrs.Maxwell?"The CSI man asked.

'Yes?'I signed

"Did your husband push you into that glass?"

'If it weren't for him pushing me.I would be dead right now' I turned my head not wanting to discuss the topic any longer.

"Alright ma'am" He sat up and walked away nodding at Maxwell as he walked in.

I nodded softly and held his hand looking him in his eyes. I mouthed the words 'thank you' before giving him a big hug. I was hoping she would face the rightful time she deserved for murdering my father. But in all truth I was terrified that means I will have to testify against my mother in a court of law.

Once I was out of the hospital I called my girls over and showed them the note each had a different reaction.

"Was the make up sex good?"Rockie asked,sipping her wine.

"Your mom is getting what she deserves."Tammy mumbled, braiding Jada's hair.

"I say we drink to this"Jada said,holding her wine glass up.

"Sweetheart you'll be okay" Sammy rubbed my knee and kissed my forehead.

We got well into a deep conversation when two beepers went off.

'Duty calls?'I signed

"Yup"Tammy kissed my forehead and left out the door.

"you cheer up sweetie"Rockie said, throwing a pillow at my head making me smile.

Once they left Sammy was getting into a heated conversation with her new beau.

"How many boys does she go through a week?"Jada asked jokingly finishing her drink.

'more than an average girl should in one week' I laughed. Pretty soon Sammy was cursing at him in her native tongue she was walking towards the door, she sent us silent kissy faces and continued yelling out the door.

"And then there was two."Jada muttered, giggling.

We both sat up inches apart and continued the deep conversation.

'I don't think he will love me much since I've kept this huge secret from him.'

"Hey hey, Selena he should love you even harder now that you have finally opened up to the cause of your muteness, he has waited so long to hear this and now that he has he can love you the way he wants too. No one will love you more than him except for me." We both laughed and I couldn't help but stare at her beautiful eyes and then her full wonderfully rounded lips.

Before I knew it I was kissing her, my hands locked in her hair as I gently laid her down. I smoothly guided my tongue into her mouth and deepened the kiss. We both sat up laughing and shaking our heads.

"We should do that more often to arouse the men."Jada giggled. I nodded in agreement I felt absolutely nothing for Jada except for her making me horny.

"Was that a turn on?"She asked.

'Yes' I smiled and kissed her cheek before falling asleep against her on the couch. My best friends definitely made this night more tolerable with Maxwell away on buisness.

*****days later*****

The doorbell rang Maurice and I practically raced to get the door. I pushed him out the way and opened the door only to be kissed deeply by Maxwell. He dropped his bags and placed his hands around my waist in an instant my legs were wrapped around his lower torso as we both fell to the ground.
