I was not expecting EITHER of you to make it past the bloodbath or day 1. Let's remind ourselves of what both of you had to do to make it here, shall we?

With three kills and a thirst for blood, Banana is now the unexpected cold-blooded leader in the games. On day 3, she threw a knife into her own friend and district partner's chest. (Ouch.) Then she inadvertently (I'm assuming) saved Alex's life by managing to kill a lithe, agile jewel thief from a Flash game no one knows about. This came in handy the very next morning, since she knew that Alex would spare her life because of it. Finally, she managed to kill the jewel thief's partner—the dragon—with (again, I'm assuming) his own sword. And it wasn't just a stab, either: it was a full-on decapitation. I wouldn't be surprised if she went on to win it all.

And then there's E, the obvious underdog. Right from the get-go, their district partner fell into a hole. They sprained their ankle while trying to escape a big, scary Russian mercenary who kills for a living. Then they go insane that night and scream their head off for help. Somehow, it works, because they bonk Matt on the head with a sickle the next morning. They then proceed to defeat Geo somehow—I'm assuming in an art fight, since Geo himself was an artist before he became a godlike isekai protagonist.

What's interesting about E, at least to me, is that they developed a rather odd relationship with the other single-letter tribute, D. On night 5, they told each other stories about themselves and presumably bonded during the night. Yet on day 7, D runs away from E for some reason. Whether he was scared of them or wanted to ditch them somewhere unfavorable apparently didn't matter later that night, since they went right back to bonding and telling each other stories about themselves. D is probably the closest thing to an ally E had the whole game, and he even made it to the final 3 with them. Unfortunately for E, D was murdered by—guess who—the ONLY other tribute in the game with 3 kills. So it's not looking good for E.

But remember, anything can happen! This isn't a game of skill, after all; it's a game of RNG. Will Banana become the next Katniss Everdeen, or will E defy the odds and come out on top? Find out next time in "shg day 9: THE FINALE"!

Good luck, tributes. And may the odds be ever in your favor. I'll see you in the next one.
