AFTER BEING ESCORTED out of the Asgardian Dungeons, Syn saw for the first time in a year actual light again. She felt the warmth of the sun on her skin as it shone through the windows of the hallway before she was led down to her chamber, but that didn't stop the sadness from consuming her after she had left her twin brother to rot alone in his cell.

It was softly said that Syn had suffered in the dungeons as she was dealing with everything she had been through, Sanctuary with the Mad Titan and The Other and the event with the Tesseract, but now, the princess had finally opened up to someone about the feelings and fears that were buried deep inside of her and was taken away from him.

She hadn't said a word since she was taken from the dungeons, too occupied in her own mind with the arranged marriage. She was doing fine in her cell, paying for her crimes. Why couldn't Odin just let her stay there 'til the end of her days? Why did he continue forcing her into this ridiculous marriage? Did he want her to suffer? The girl he had raised as his own, or did he just want to let Loki suffer for what they had done?

Hell, separating them was already a sufferable punishment for them. Wasn't it enough?

Syn didn't know her adoptive father's reasons other than what Loki accused him of. Odin feared Syn because of her powers and she would only grow stronger with time, and with her twin by her side, they would simply be unstoppable, which was one of the reasons they were separated from each other.

Only, it seemed like Syn didn't care anymore about what would happen to her as long as Loki was doing well. He was her twin brother, her other half, and losing him would feel like losing a part of herself.

Syn, who was standing on a small platform in the middle of her old room, looked down at her hands, her mind wondering off as she worried about her twin and his whereabouts.

Although her hands were no longer bound in chains, the feeling of the power-dampening metal lingered around. The moment she was released, she felt her magic cross through her veins once again, however, the strange visions she had been seeing and the energy which she couldn't control was there as well.

Maids were walking around the room with all kinds of fabric for, not only Syn's wedding dress, but also the dress in which she would represent Asgard once she would arrive in Vanaheim to meet the prince. Syn, of course, had already met the prince in battle, and let's just say, she wasn't a big fan of him and neither were Thor and Loki when they met him.
