WITH THE MISSION a success and HYDRA officially defeated, the team was back on the Quinjet and flew back to New York City from Sokovia, everyone was checking on the aid of Clint Barton, except Tony Stark who was flying the jet. Natasha eventually went to check up on Banner recovering after the whole event with the Hulk and experience during the battle while Syn and Thor were discussing what they were going to do with the weapons they had retrieved from HYDRA.

Syn moved her fingers over the blue veins of the swords, she could only look at them with the thought of how much she had hurt people and how its power had overwhelmed her instead of helping to control it, ''Does it give you closure now you know the weapons are in safe hands?'' Steve's voice sounded from behind her which caused the goddess to turn around, leaning her hands on the table behind her as she looked him in the eyes, clearly pained by the torturous memories.

''I don't know.'' Syn answered with a shrug of the shoulders, ''I thought it would, but given what I've done... the people I've hurt with those weapons... it all just comes racing back.''

''You know that's completely normal, right? It means that you're busy processing it and heal.'' Steve told her in an assuring manner, only Syn didn't seem so sure about it and turned away for a moment as she thought about the words that had been spoken to her by a friend. ''And besides, if it wasn't for you we would have never found the hideout this fast.''

She now knew that she reminded the Captain of his old friend who had been brainwashed by HYDRA, and that he wanted to help her, just as much as he would like to help Bucky, but Syn sometimes still had a hard time letting people in, ''And you know, sometimes exactly what I want to hear isn't exactly what I want to hear.'' She answered which caused Steve to frown before he tilted his head to the side and asked, ''How long before you trust me?''

''It's not you I don't trust.'' She simply answered, sounding slightly defeated as she did trust the Captain, she just didn't trust herself even when she had proven herself to be trustworthy to others... just not to herself yet.

''Thor, report on the Hulk?'' Natasha's voice filled the room, sitting beside Bruce as she checked up on the doctor which caused Syn and Steve to turn towards the thunder god as well, who overly excited as he spoke, ''The gates of Hel are filled with the screams of his victims.'' Natasha glared at Thor while Banner groaned in despair as he thought about how Hulk's violence had just resulted in the deaths of dozens of HYDRA soldiers who were now screaming in Hel as Thor would put it.
