HAVING SPENT TWO years following the Battle of Sokovia, searching for the Infinity Stones, Syn and Thor had been unsuccessful in finding any, but that didn't stop the godly siblings in their quest. Currently, the two had separated ways as the god of thunder travelled to Muspelheim after he had begun to have dreams about the destruction of Asgard by the Fire Demon, Surtur, while Syn continued her search in Alfheim for... research.
''...And when we got to them, we went into aggressive negotiations.'' Syn told as she was telling Natasha about her and Thor's adventures around the cosmos while they were gone. It had been a while since Syn and Natasha had been together again, but it was certainly worth the wait seeing the goddess had decided to take Romanoff with her to one of the most magical places in the Nine Realms. Literally, the unicorns were right down the hill that they were sitting on, watching the lake streaming down towards the waterfall while creatures were peacefully minding their own business.
Natasha gave her a look, ''Aggressive negotiations? What's that?''
''Uh, well, negotiations with weapons. It had gotten quite out of hand when they figured out who Thor and I were, but luckily, we came out unharmed... well, mostly unharmed.'' Syn said, laughing awkwardly which made Natasha giggle, placing her hand in front of her lips before she turned her head, looking the goddess lovingly in the eyes.
They were sitting there alone, no one had decided to bother the couple during their time together. Syn and Natasha were guests of the ruler's sister and were royally provided for the days they had spent in Alfheim, but there was still something that bothered the Princess of Asgard, ''You're still worrying about him, aren't you?'' Natasha asked concerned as she noticed the look on Syn's face, she had gotten better in reading her girlfriend's features and could easily tell when something was bothering her.
''I am.'' The goddess confirmed and nodded her head, ''After what Freyja told us about the prophecy, I cannot help it. Especially, since I haven't heard from him since we separated ways.''
''I'm sure he will be fine, Syn. He's the Mighty Thor after all.'' She said, gently placing her hand on Syn's shoulder to give her some comfort and luckily it helped. Syn chuckled softly and leaned more into Natasha's touch before saying, ''Don't call him that when he is with us, it will only boost his ego.''
They stared at each other for a moment, giggling and laughing, like teenagers that were in love, even when they were both in their adulthood. Syn slowly moved her right hand up and pushed a strand of red hair behind Natasha's ear while her other hand went around her waist, ''You're so beautiful.'' The goddess said which caused Natasha to pull away as she shook her head, however, that smile never left her face. ''I mean it.''
