Go lifted his game into the air to get a good look at it, "Oh no! It doesn't work anymore!"
Koichiro and Mari stood up from their crouching position.
"We need to get out of here, " Koichiro said to everyone.
The old man took the game from Go's hands and started walking away.
"It'll get stormy outside." The old man said.
Everyone looked at him with a bit of confusion written on their faces, the old man continued.
"You can hide here if you'd like."
(Y/N) smiled a little at his hidden kindness, 'I think he's trying to make up for almost killing Go and destroying his game.'
~
Outside the trees were swaying furiously with the storm coming in, it then started raining. Koichiro was watching Go and the old man's interaction, smiling at Go when he said he wanted to compete in e-sports in the Olympics.
Koichiro pat Go'as head, "I'm sure that dream will come true."
Go smiled at his dad and gave him a hug.
The old man looked at Go, "Is that right?"
Go let go of his father and looked at the man fixing his game, "You know what that is?"
"Damn right." He replied.
As Go and the man talked, Kite got a bottle from the fridge and opened it up. It erupted and some of the drink splattered onto the floor, Ayumu heard and turned around to look at what was going on and seen Kite.
"What a bizarre old man," Kite exclaimed and started walking away drinking.
"Aren't you too young to be drinking?" (Y/N) said while stopping in front of him.
Kite took another sip and laughed, "So what if it is an alcoholic beverage? There's no one here to stop anyone from drinking when underaged."
(Y/N)'s eyebrows twitched a little.
Kite laughed once more and pats (Y/N)'s head, "Don't worry kid, it's only soda."
(Y/N) became flustered from him being so close, Kite started walking once more.
"Oh and I'm eight-teen." He finally said and took another sip of his drink.
"Hey! I'm not a kid Kite, I'm seventeen dammit! And I'll be your age in three more days! Don't ever call me that again you hear me!?" (Y/N) yelled out to him.
Kite just waved his hand, "Yeah yeah, I hear you loud and clear."
"I swear that fine, annoying, sexy ass man is so infuriating." (Y/N) raged to herself.
Mari was by a door where an outlet was located and plugged in something discretely away from where everyone else was.
~
Food was laid out on top of newspapers in front of Mari, Haruo, Ayumu, and (Y/N). (Y/N) started drooling over the food in front of her, except for a purple vegetable.
"It's fixed!" Go shouted out, holding his game system above his head in excitement while running over to his mom.
Mari pointed at a chair for Go, "Sit down."
Koichiro sat down and pulled the chair that was next to him out for Mari to sit next to him.
Mari gave Koichiro a small peck on the lips then looked at the old man that was still sitting at his desk, "Thank you!"
Ayumu and (Y/N) sat down and they both said, "Thank you for the meal!"
Go started playing his game and (Y/N) was watching him play while eating her food.
"Shut off that game while your eating," Mari told Go.
"Okay." Go said disheartened and he started eating as well.
Ayumu looked down at the newspaper beneath the plates that are set at the table.
'GEOLOGIST CAUSES UPROAR'
Go notices as well, "Is that guy Mr. Onodera?"
Mari looked, "Yes, he's the submarine pilot."
"Is he the guy who said Japan would sink?" Go asked.
Mari didn't want Go thinking about stuff like that so she changed the subject, "Go, don't just eat the meat. Have some vegetables as well. You too, (Y/N)."
Go made a face and grabbed a piece of the purple vegetables and ate it, (Y/N) made a gagging sound.
"No thanks, I'm okay."
Go shuddered after swallowing the vegetable, "Are you sure this isn't rotten?"
The old man heard Go's comment and yelled out, "It's called "fermented!"
Then there was a loud crash.
