Oh my goodness my darling readers you've almost got this story to 1k reads! I'm so excited I hope you all stick with it because it's going to get a lot better. I have to keep myself from writing everything that I plan to happen all at once. I'm so excited to continue this story with you all! Brace yourselves because this chapter is a long one.
Love and thanks,
@TheXCat

When Sam first told me about this case I had a pretty strong hunch as to what we would be dealing with. Maybe I should have mentioned it then as I probably should now, but I wanted to be sure. I am not one to jump to conclusions, so I made note of my suspicions and kept on moving.
The list of names Sam gave me were my new focus. I figured it was more important to find the missing ones than to ponder over the dead. I knew Sam and Dean would be trying like hell to figure out what monster did this and who it could be disguised as. I quickly read down the list and the notes I had scrawled:
Daniel McGregor - missing
Xavier Humphreys - dead, rich at 30, look into more
Martin James Hopkins - dead, doctor
Laremy Koehler - dead
Ian Harris - dead
Charles Hoffmann - dead
Derek Earnhardt - dead

Abbi Ponds - missing
Tyler Coppell - missing, officer's son
Christopher Hartwell - missing

I had more work to do. Sam and I relayed information back and forth to one another. He gave me the names, I looked around online. I'd give Sam what little I found, he and Dean would ask around. While Sam and Dean talked to parents, friends, and family of the deceased and missing, I began doing some field work as well.
It was getting late, but I was interested in Xavier Humphreys. With as much money as he had at such a young age there was bound to be people plotting against him. Whether they were monsters looking to drain his blood, well that I would find out. I drove to his mansion on the outskirts of town. It was gated with a huge iron fence, it was something from a movie. The house was at the end of a long paved drive way boardered by evenly spaced trees on either side. I pulled across in front of the gate and got out, leaving my car running. The police had already been here and found nothing, but I was hoping he had an office where I could snoop through his records and personal contacts.
"Excuse me miss." I heard a voice say as I turned to see an intercom mounted on the stone pillar.

"Uh hello." I replied awkwardly after clearing my throat.

"Can I help you?" The kind male voice asked.

"Yes, could you open the gate please?"

"I'm sorry, but who are you and what is your business here?"

"I'm Jenna, Jenna Humphreys. This is Xavier Humphreys' residence is it not? He's my brother." I flat out lied to the disembodied voice.

When the voice answered it was no longer as controlled. Clearly I had startled the man behind the intercom. "Well. Yes, this is-was Mr. Humphreys' home. Well I suppose I will let you in so I can tell you in person."
With that the large Iron gates opened allowing me access. I stood outside of a fancy door for a minute or two before an older man in a suit asked me to come in. He looked like a waiter at a five star restaurant, but I quickly learned he was Xavier's assistant slash butler. He said he had no idea 'Mr. Humphreys' had any family at all. I quickly jumped in spewing the story about how our family died in a car accident and Xavier was the only one to survive it, but that I was his younger sister from our father's embarrassing disloyalty to Xavier's mother. The car accident story was true, but in reality Xavier's family was not torn by disloyalty therefore he did not have a younger sister named Jenna. I was hoping this man, Rudy, would buy it, and he did.
Rudy showed me around the house after telling me the unfortunate news, at which I pretended to be in shock. I asked him for some time alone and voiced my regrets at not being closer to my dear older brother. During this time I was able to go through enough of Xavier's things to find it was a bust except for a small scheduling journal that I took to look over later. I walked down the staircase after smacking my face red and putting Vicks vapor rub I found in the bathroom under my eyes. Rudy wished me well and sent me off after I declined the offer to stay the night.
I wrote Xavier Humphreys off as just an unfortunate victim. He owned a vacation home on the West Coast so I doubt the monster took his or her victims on a plane to an upscale vacation I guess money doesn't always bring out the bloodsuckers.
I now focussed on Daniel McGregor, the missing man. He owned a Pub in town, so I stared there. The place was nice, with plently of patrons enjoying themselves. I sat down and ordered a beer. A young woman about my age served me. She had blue eyes and dark "Irish brown" hair tied up in a messy knot behind her head.
"I'm surprised this place is running." I commented as she placed my drink in front of me.
