JULY 24TH, 2021
i was at getting ready with my two friends, asia and danielle, to go to this club in miami while we were on a girls trip for the week. i had on a brown skims dress similar to my skin tone. i grabbed my louis vuitton purse and put on my brown sandals when danielle told me the uber was here.
it was 11:23pm, we made it to the club and it was ladies free before midnight. me, asia, and danielle, showed our ids and got in. there was a stage and i was curious to who was performing but while we were waiting for who ever was preforming they were playing some music that had me in such a good mood.
the music turned off as some emcee started to introduce whoever. "ladies and gentleman, jack harlow" as jack ran out. i was front row so he was going to for sure see me. seeing him didn't bother me but after i moved to florida 2 years ago we stopped talking after a couple of weeks of me living here.
then i move back to atl after a year of living in florida without saying anything. yes, i know that's wrong but to be fair we just weren't talking at all. i've been so proud to see his success. he saw me and his eyes widened as i giggled a little bit. "yall knew he was gonna be here" i said to dani and asia "no, we wouldn't have came here if we knew, sorry dey, we can leave if you'd like"
"no its good, aint nothing wrong with a lil reunion." i said
he did a couple more song then went to a vip section. we went back to dancing and having a good time before this guy in all black tapped my arm and i turned around "you're deyja cortes right? jack wants you in his section" he said " of course he does one second sir" i said turning around to my girls
"yall so he want me to go to his section its cool if i leave yall right here and when i get up there i could ask him to bring yall here too?" i asked "girl yeah its cool, go get ya boo" asia said laughing a little "ok i'll see yall later and i'll keep yall posted" i said lifting my phone in the air a little bit "ok im ready" i said
"ok follow me" he said as he leads me to jack's section "deyja, deyja, deyja, its been too long" he said getting up giving me a hug "hey jack, it has been" i said sitting down next to him. "i know you hate the way we drifted but it was up to both of us to keep the relationship alive and neither of us did our part" he said into my ear
"i know, i moved back to atlanta too. i just didnt wanna tell you after not talking for a year." i said looking at him "i saw it on your ig, i be stalking sometimes. i really missed you" he said "you play too much but you know i missed you" we laughed "we both know i been a child" he said
"how's your sister and your niece? does she still cry a lot?" he asked "yeah they're good, she cries only once a day or once every two days now. she 5 now" i said "you seeing somebody?" he asked "no, are you?" i asked "girl, you know im staying single unless its you" he said "boy please, i see all the girls you be messing with addison, tori, saweetie, and doja" i said back
"damn, you aint have to put me on the spot, but i aint talking to nobody right now" he replied "remember when i'd come and spend the night at your house, and waking up by myself in bed cause you'd be cooking and i did put my arms around your waist, used to get you everytime with that one" he laughed "boy shush before everybody hear you" i laughed with him
"so what you doing after this?" he asked " going back to the airbnb with my girls" i said "when you going back to atlanta?" he asked "in two days" i responded "well my number hasnt changed so call me when you get back home and we can talk more" he said
"ok jack, i'll see you soon, it was so nice talking to you, byee" i kissed his cheek " i didnt know you still liked me like that" he blushed as i walked back to find my girls
