Chapter 11: Dark God in My Dreamland | Part Two.

"Does she not tell you to lay off your hands from her? I'll suggest you do that, or I rip them myself and feed it to your little pony." Dave warned.

I stood frozen in Coach Marcus' grip when another foreign set of hands plucked me off from the spot. A fist came flying from my behind and solidly landed on Coach Marcus' left cheek. He went crashing into the bridal store, buried under the rain of glasses and wedding dresses.

"Come, Janice. Let's move." Dave whispered in my ears, his voice was warm and silky.

Oh no, mister, I don't think I can't move. My legs have turned to jelly upon hearing your dulcet voice.

The fiery skeleton horse neighed, or growled, or I didn't know whatever sound that skeletal animal made. It was a terrifying sound and it looked like it was readying itself to charge towards Dave and I. Not eager to become a pancake even in my dream, I hastily moved, allowing Dave to lead me.

A cackling laughter erupted from within the store. I saw Coach Marcus slowly emerged from behind the rack of white gowns and lace. His red eyes glowing, "little Dave…" he sang maliciously.

Dave growled, a real beastly growl, one that made my skin shivered.

Shivers in a good way?

Oh shut up the horny me. I didn't need your input.

"Close your eyes, J…" Dave murmured as he led me backwards, our eyes trained on the figure of the douchebag lord — who was standing next to his skeletal horse, "…or you will get dizzy from it."

Oh no, mister, I'm already dizzy of you!

Dave's hand slid around my waist and soon I felt my gravity shift. The world seemed to turn upside down and I promptly shut my eyes off. The queasiness in my stomach roiled and my feet left the ground. The wind howled harder and I had a flash of memory.

I was reminded the time when I got on a rollercoaster. I remembered how my hair whipped violently and I almost lost my glasses to the wind. Since that, I made a note to myself: never wear glasses when you get into a ride.

The wind blew harder as I felt that I was maneuvered left and right erratically. I didn't dare to open my eyes and then, I heard excited screams of passengers with every sudden turns.

Wait, am I in a rollercoaster ride?

A low, attractive chuckle coming next to me, "what an interesting dream, J." Dave murmured, "but, it will not do."

I felt the abrupt shift in the wind and my feet found their footing on a steady ground. I heard birds chirping sweetly and I could taste the balmy and warm air.

"Open your eyes, J."

Hesitantly, I obeyed Dave's words. I was standing in a stone balcony. The sun hung bright in the sky, it was summer. I peered over the stone railing which was carved in an intricate medieval design. The view gave away to green valleys, lush forests and a blue ocean on the horizon.

I welcomed the summer breeze and I realised my clothing had changed to a simple, backless white dress. I stood alone in the balcony.

"Dave? Where are you?" I called out and to which I got no reply.

"Come here, kitty kitty meow meow."

"Who's your kitty, huh?"

Dave appeared at my side and I jerked away from him in surprise. Surprised of what? Surprised because he suddenly appeared out of thin air? Or, suprised of how godly he looked?
