Devil's Cat

Prologue

"What have you done this time?" He drawled out, lowering his newspaper down to stare at his third-in-command who was currently kneeling on the floor in defeat.

The issues about succubi and  incubi creating havoc all over places were selling like hot cakes now, and it had made to the front of his newspaper. As always, it didn't take a genius to figure out who is the devil behind this scheme.

"Look, you must go assume that I have done something wrong now, eh?" Asmodeus complained as he adjusted to more comfortable position to kneel.

The stone floor was cold to the touch and his very lack of clothing didn't help him to feel comfortable. Asmodeus could feel the laser stare on his neck as he spoke those words. He gulped sheepishly when he turned to face his fuming brother that was holding him down to the cold floor.

The man continued to murder Asmodeus with his lethal glare until the King stirred in his seat. The newspaper was put down and Asmodeus gulped harshly when Lucifer scrutinised him more. Soft caress of wind tickled Asmodeus' bare spine, sweeping his long black hair.

"Of course, one would assume that you're in a big mess when Abaddon showed up into my office in this ungodly hour, dragging you naked." Lucifer stated.

Asmodeus winced, not just of embarrassment but when Abaddon smacked him on the back of head with force enough to make a full-grown adult weep.

"Well, I just like to sleep naked."

"Sleep naked together with my girlfriend in the bed!" Abaddon hissed violently and instantaneously, his red hair blazed into great fire. His pitch black eyes were void albeit vengeance simmering deep within it.

Immediately, Asmodeus recoiled with trepidation as he knew what was to come when Abaddon had ticked off like that. But, he couldn't help himself to feel a little bit of satisfaction in the knowledge that he managed to piss his sibling off.

Pissing his brother off was always his goal in life.

"Come on!" Asmodeus wailed in attempt to defend himself, "that water nymph–whatever her name is–she's like your girlfriend number eight? You have many mistresses!"

"SHUT UP!" bellowed Abaddon.

"Don't be greedy!"

"Now now, be quiet." The King commanded as his scintillating blue eyes watched the two demons clawed at each other throat.

Lucifer thought he would have a peaceful night to himself and dealt with his problem alone. But, the wind blew in different direction from what he wanted. Now, he had an angry Abaddon barging into his chamber with Asmodeus unadulterated exposed.

"Your highness, please punish this dirty lusty demon accordingly. Teach him a lesson!"

"Your highness, please do not! Spare me from your atrocity!"

Lucifer rubbed his temple, everyone in this entire condemned kingdom knew Asmodeus was a die-hard recidivist. And he, from all of creatures, closest to Asmodeus should acutely aware of that.

"Beside of your act of adultery with Abaddon's mistress, I want you to explain this... " The headline of the newspaper was displayed in front of the Lust Demon.

'MASS FORNICATION WITH THE DEVILS DURING MIDNIGHT.'

"Ah well, it's the month of love and romance! Valentine's day is coming! Of course my Children will be on the track to celebrate it." Asmodeus explained brightly.

It was February, the month for Asmodeus to increase his power. For every person, committed to their sensual desire. Asmodeus would effectively gain power from it. It was perfect.

"I see... " Lucifer rested both of his elbows on the grand table. The light glowed dim in the room, cast an eerie glow on his face.

"You see what? "

"Your punishment has been decided." Lucifer began, "the punishment that is fit for your reckless and very stupid action, that will hope slap some senses into your thick head. Sleeping with your brethren's mistress and executing chaos on the outside world. Letting succubi and also incubi doing whatever they want will only draw the Angels' attention." Lucifer spoke.

"That is just plain stupid and risky."

"What? It is not stupid and risky..." Asmodeus denied as he began to feel uneasy, he was just hoping Lucifer would not punish him badly.

"I hope you will mature up and aware that messing with someone's love is not admirable."

"What?! I am mature and well aware!"

"Asmodeus, you are exiled and condemned until you are what I hope you will be after all of this. That means, until you learn your lesson, you will stay punished!" Lucifer waved his hand, glow of magical tendrils flowed from the dance of his hand.

"NOOOOoooo–meow?"
