The storm came with a terrible wind
What a perfect night to change their lives
Outside they went with the lights still on
Gathered around each other
They waited for the ceremony to begin
The girl stood dressed in white
Terrified of her fate
The sacrifice had to be made
In the eyes of the town
Though the girl did not know why
Her life would end before the morning light
