I changed the lock and burned the key
There's no way you can get to me
I ripped out the part you touched
And stitched my heart back up
I blocked out all the sweet memories
Now there's nothing left of you and me
Just remember it was you that wanted to be free
I was happy as could be
But you destroyed everything
I can still remember all the dreadful words you spoke on the telephone
It felt like a knife to the heart
But it's all in the past
You won't see no more tears escape from me
