Got my bags packed and a full tank of gas, I'm ready to hit the road
Radio blaring to my favorite station
There's no looking back now
Need to get away desperately I can't handle having him around
There's just too many memories of us in this forsaken town
So with my foot on the petal and a smile on my face
I'm finally gonna leave this place
I'm leaving today before it's too late
Don't want to see his face
Don't want to bump into him and have to pretend that everything's okay
So I'm leaving before I go insane
Got the wind blowing in my hair, but I don't really care
Things can only go up from here
As the miles grow I feel the weight lifted from my shoulders
I can finally breath without his scent haunting me
I don't know what took me so long
But I'm glad I decided to leave
