My heart aches so much as I write this
I think it might explode
I try to tell you how I feel
But can't find the words
When you are near
All I can do is stare up into those beautiful eyes
And when I look down
I'm struck by that amazing smile
In my mind you stay all the time
I can't get away from you
Not even if I tried
I'm haunted by you in my dreams
But it's not a nightmare that would make me want to scream
It's how I wish things could be
And when you are gone and out of sight
I wonder where you are
But I know it won't be long until I have you near
My heart will pound like the beat of a drum
As I wish that you could see
How much you mean to me
