The assembly wrapped itself up as the huge crowd of students rushed out the hall, and due to us being seated at the front, we were one of the last sets of people to go.

Jade almost stumbles towards Josie.

"Hi, I'm Jade" Jade greets her.

"Josie" Josie replies.

I feel my insides practically leave my body as an all too familiar voice enters earshot. It hadn't changed... even in the 4 years since they left.

"Josie, there you ar-" Lizzie's voice enters.

I could audibly hear her voice drop as her eyes see me.

I turn my head slightly to meet her, Jaw clenches as my eyes meet hers. Her gaze hindered slightly as she sent some sort of soft glance.

But mine was filled with nothing but hatred... I did hate her, Seeing her definitely reassured this.

I didn't break the eye contact as it turned into more of a scowl... To say I could torn that girl into shreds was an understatement.

Until Lizzie just backed up on her own accord, practically sprinting out of there.

As she should, after what she did, she was lucky I didn't do more than give her a mean look.

Josie must've not noticed as she stood there unknowing what just happened.

And sure enough, the crowd moved, leaving Jade, Josie and I to leave the hall finally, with no sight of Lizzie whatsoever, which was a smart move.

Soon after, Josie had also disappeared, leaving Jade and I to ourselves.

"You got some history with that girl or something" Jade questions.

"Lizzie? You could say that" I recollect.

I hadn't told Jade what happened, it was too embarrassing.

"Seemed like it, if looks could kill... she'd be dead" Jade exaggerates.

"Oh shush" I knock into her arm.

We both just simultaneously headed down the halls, forgetting everything that happened and towards our next class.

I quickly hurried to class, now slightly late but it was fine.

Taking my usual seat at the back of the class, a whole row to myself was definitely a highlight of my experience.

A whole row... in a full class... The twins.

Almost as if I spoke too soon, they come clashing into class, Lizzie holding a tissue which was slightly damp.

Along with Josie, comforting her.

"You two, back row" The female teacher hinted at the two girls.

Great... fucking great.

However Josie taking the decision to take the seat next to me was a good thing, no doubt.

"Hello again" I awkwardly make conversation.

"Hey" Josie acknowledges me.

It doesn't go any further except that.

I see Lizzie, sat one seat away, her glare perfectly set on the front.

Throughout the hour lesson, It didn't once move... I was hoping she was like this.

"Okay class, Theres an assignment due for our project on the Bennet Bloodline witches, I'd like It done by Wednesday at the latest, Please take my advice to do it in pairs" The teacher breaks up.

I looked at Jade instantly.

"I'd like you to work with someone you haven't before... This class is as much about socialisation as it is about spells..." The teacher speaks.

I tried to delay the inevitable, until there was only 4 of us left, Jade, Josie, Lizzie and i.

At this point it was self-preservation.

"So who are you pairing up with Hope" The teacher asks in a tone, with a pen and a paper.

Sorry Jade.

"Uhh... J-josie" I stutter out.

Looking over to see a small smile set on the girls face.

Not even daring to look over at Jade, as I know she was going to kill me.

"So that leaves, Lizzie and Jade, Got it" The teacher writes down.

I turn my glare over to a now wide-eyed Jade, whispering 'Sorry'.

"When are you free" I turn to face my partner.

"I'm not free tomorrow... so I think tonight would be my only night I'm able to do it... sorry" Josie apologises.

"Oh no worries, we can do tonight, Just swing by my dorm whenever, I'm room 109" I try to act cool... internally I was panicking.

"I'll see you later then... Hope" Josie overly pronounces my name for effect, while writing '109' on her hand.

Class had finished as the students flocked to leave the room.

I tried to run out faster to avoid the inevitable lecture off Jade... but she caught up to me shortly.

"are you fucking serious" Jade's cocky expression laughs off.

"I'm sorry Jade, at this point its self-preservation... I'd rather die than go with Lizzie" I shrug off.

"Great... She sounds a pleasure to be around" Jade responds.

"I feel for you" I joke.

"What did she do to you anyway" Jade enquires.

"Its a long story, For another day" I try let go.

The conversation ends as she realises she won't get it out of me... for more reasons than one.

I had a lesson to myself, no one in it... although being sat next to Alyssa Chang was one of the worst things I'd had to go through, It was tolerable.
