The rest of the day flew by unknowingly, I'd been put next to Alyssa, Penelope and Jade through the rest of my lessons which was a blessing in disguise, if i'm being honest, the devil would be a blessing over Lizzie.

I began to saunter over to my dorm, planning on cleaning it a little before Josie came over... or so I thought.

However when I turn the final corner to my dorm, I see Josie already waiting patiently at the door.

I was suddenly embarrassed, my room wasn't clean, I looked as if I'd been awake for days on end... shit.

"Josie, Hey" I greet her.

Stepping slowly infront of her to unlock my door.

Opening up my door, and stepping aside to let her in. Quickly doing a quick circuit of my room to pick up any clothes thrown on my floor.

"Your room is huge... Lizzie and I have to share" Josie speaks.

"Oh really... that must suck" I snigger to myself.

Its clear she didn't take it as a joke... of course she didn't I just insulted her sister.

"She's alright when you get to know her... she's a little shy" Josie reconciles.

"Oh trust me, we have a history" I repeat.

I realised I hadn't actually really spoken to Josie, we had been the sort of acquaintance, like we new each others name... but we weren't exactly friends before.

"What type of history" A smile crept on her face.

"A complicated one" I shortly say, not wanting to get into detail.

"Wait... You're 'the' Hope... Oh my god I remember you now. I'm so sorry my memory of this place was hazy, You were best friends with Lizzie" Josie remembers.

"Yeah thats true" I try to change topic.

"I never forget a pretty face... After all I'm pretty sure I had a major crush on yo-" Josie goes bright red in an instant.

"Did I really just say that out loud" Josie adds trying to laugh it off.

I just begin to laugh slightly.

"I'm glad 14 year old me had charm" I joke.

"Don't even" Josie tries to shrug off with a laugh.

It all goes silent real quick, until I make the decision to rush over to my desk, pulling out a spare chair for her to sit at.

Routing through my drawers to find my pens and paper, Pulling out two of each.

Without saying anything, Josie takes a seat next to me, although as she tucks herself in with her chair, her knee slightly grazes mine which flusters me slightly, however she doesn't move it... I felt awkward moving mine.

Letting out a slight awkward cough to initiate us starting to work. Flipping to the right pages in the book.

"Whatever happened between you and my sister, she's different now" Josie tries to make things better.

I don't care, I just wanted to forget that girl existed which was slightly impossible considering she lived in the same school as me.

"Look... Josie. I appreciate your efforts but the thing is... That bridge has already been crossed. I don't think you realise how deeply I dislike her...  In the nicest way possible that is" I try be polite.. but it seems to just come across rude.

"She must've really fucked up then" Josie just sniggers.

"More than you could realise" I just laugh back wanting desperately to change the topic.

Of course I'd looked at Josie before... but under the lighting of my room, I could see her perfectly.

I catch myself staring at all her features, how perfectly her face was set, how her up-turned smile was adorable to me, how soft her lips wer- I straighten up and snap out of it.

On the better side of things, she looked and resembled nothing of her sister... therefore being around her didn't make my blood boil.

The occasional glance over at her, seeing how much she concentrated on the work infront of her, writing pages on top of pages made me admire her deeply.

By the end of it I'd managed to write roughly 2 and a half pages, with her on the other hand writing approximately 6... putting mine to shame.

"Looks like someones a little unfocused" Josie jokes.

"Uhh just a little" I joke back.

"Its fine, adding both of them together should get us a high grade" Josie reassures me.

We just sit there, gathering up all our papers, taking our time on purpose.

"I don't suppose you're the party type are you?" Josie says off topic.

"I can be for the right people, why?" I question.

"Theres a party tomorrow, People are throwing it for us returning and I haven't really spoken to anyone but you... I'd like you to come" Josie offers.

"I'm taking you'll be there" I question slightly.

"I will be" Josie giggles.

"Then so will I" I suggest.

"Okay... give me your phone" Josie strongly orders.

"You're not going to steal it are you" I joke.

Josie just laughs it off as I hand her my phone, unlocking it first of course.

I notice she went onto my contacts, and I quickly realise what she was doing... she was adding her phone number to it.

Under the alias 'Josie <3'.

And swiftly handing it back to me, with a huge grin on her face.

"I suppose I'll have to text you then" I cockily confront Josie.

"I guess so" Josie's voice ever so sweet.

In a matter of seconds, standing up and gathering the jacket off the back of her chair and throwing It on.

Realising she was leaving I stand up also, walking over to the door.

"Thank you Hope" Josie thanks me.

"What for" I just shrug off.

"Everyone I've met at this school Is just wrapped up in my sister, no one really pays much attention to me. Although you have" Josie explains.

This made me feel sorry for her slightly, Lizzie deserves no attention whatsoever... she deserves to eat her dinner by the bins while people walk past her and kick her tray... you could say I don't like her... at all.

"How could I not pay attention to you" I attempt to flirt.

Josie blushes slightly.

"Goodbye Hope" Josie says softly, leaning over to kiss me on the cheek before leaving the room...

Leaving me stunned.

Yeah maybe I'd caught a couple feelings to quick... Jade's claim wasn't exactly being treat like one at the moment thats for sure.
