The rest of the day flew by, Luckily narrowly escaping Lizzie and her posse more than once by swerving the corner.
No don't get me wrong, Its not that I'm scared of her... or even her group, I mean I've got my Penelope wrapped around my finger. Its the fact that I don't know if I can stop myself from finishing what I started earlier.
Until it dawned on me, while I lay staring at my feeling... the party.
I had no clue when it was, or whatever. I figured it was best to text Josie.
Josie <3
Hi
Sorry. Who's this?
Hope, Its Hope.
Oh right yeah heyyy
I was just wondering if you'd still want me at that party thing...
As long as you promise to not attack my sister, I'd very much like you there.
No promises :)
Only because you're cute, Okay I'll be round your dorm at like 7 ish
Got it. I'll see you soon.
I can't wait x
And thats where the conversation ended. My mind kept reading over the comment 'Because you're cute' and smiling.
Maybe this wouldn't be that bad.
I texted Jade the information, making sure she'd make her own way there, that was when I knew where we were going, she hadn't exactly told me.
Its was around 6 by the time I'd eaten and had a shower.
So while drying my hair I couldn't help but smile, I'd known this girl for what? just over a day. And I couldn't help but feel like I had maybe... just a little crush.
Look Josie was one of those girls you could fall for, her smile, her laugh, her evil sister... just the casual.
I think of what I could wear, maybe a pair of jeans? A t-shirt? No.
No thats not what I want to do.
I finish drying my hair and rush over to my closet, spotting an incredibly short red skirt that I'd had years ago... safe to say it was short.
It took a good couple minutes to get into but the end result was worth it, It suited my figure so well.
I remember the last time I wore this.
Seeing a white cropped shirt at the back of my wardrobe which went with the skirt.
This outfit, paired with a pair of my Jordans and my black bomber jacket would make certain heads turn for sure.
Starting shortly after on my makeup, deciding to go a little more than natural, but not too over the top.
And there it was... 6.50 and my outfit, hair and makeup all done.
I checked myself out in the mirror for a little while, it was rare that I actually put effort into my appearance, but when I did, it was worth while.
Sooner than I expected, a knock was set on my door.
I almost jump out of my skin as I rush to the door, Re-adjusting my outfit one final time before opening.
There she stood, Josie.
In a pair of black shorts, with a white, oversized t-shirt.
She looked amazing.
I saw Josie checking me out, as she struggled to get a sentence together.
"H-hey" Josie stutters.
"Hey" I respond.
"You look... uh... good- I mean great... you look really.. pretty" Josie flirts, it was cute how she was desperately trying to compliment me.
"You look amazing Jo" I flirt back.
We just check each other out for a solid minute before one of us decides to break eye contact.
"Lets get going to this thing" I break the silence.
"Lets do it" Josie brightens up with a smile.
Josie's arms fits within mine as it almost seems like slow motion as we walk effortlessly, arms interlocked perfectly, directly down the halls of the school.
Making our way out the gates and shortly coming to the sound of blaring music... sounds like we're in the right place.
I quickly text Jade to let her know its at the old mill, As I turn my phone off.
"You want a drink" Josie yells over the loud music.
"I'll come with" I smile, as she grabs my hand and leads me to the table.
The tables were decked with all sorts of alcohol. From vodka to cider. I wasn't exactly looking to get drunk so I just pick up a cider and get on with it.
Until I see her.
Lizzie, dancing with a half-full bottle of vodka on top of a piano, off her mind.
Yeah maybe I needed a little more.
I grab a red cup and fill it with the strongest bowl which was meant to be around 70% alcohol.
Chugging It, and then another... and then another.
Josie must've caught on as she started drinking a little more too.
You see being a tribrid sucks, I have to drink a lot more than others to even feel slightly wasted, although the lack of hangovers is a bonus.
I grab what must be my 7th cup of the stuff, as It all hits me at once.
Lets dance.
